Fair enough. That's what this board is about And, hey man, for what's it worth I shouldn't have busted your balls on that other thread. Cheers.
I never take **** personal. Not here lol... I argue with respected posters as well. This would be a boring place if we all had the same opinion.
Lol wut? Are you drunk? You don't make sense. The rematch probably won't happen, Salido doesn't want to take his career ending beating. Lomachenko's team tried to make it for the fans but Salido didn't want it. Salido wasn't landing a lot and cleanly, even with Loma's conservative output in that fight and Salido's lowblows counted as body shots Lomachenko still outlanded him and showed the bigger guy who the better boxer/fighter was. I honestly don't see the point of a rematch and I hope it doesn't happen, there are so many better fighters for Lomachenko to take on. The only people it means something for is to people who have zero understanding of context and the sport of boxing, who actually believe Salido had/has something over Lomachenko. Nobody with at least a quarter of a brain thinks that Salido could be competitive in a rematch that is weight controlled with the rules of boxing enforced.
Lets wait and see. The brook fight was one I thought I would never see, I thought I would hate Brook forever for ducking Spence. Now I am back on the bandwagon. Im happy, negativity is useless.... Look at this way, Brook v Spence is promotion v Promotion, as well as the two best Boxing nations ducking it out. These type of fights are hard to make. Putting your prize fighter at the weight against each other. Solido a gate keeper who under Arum.... he can throw whatever money he wants at Solido, and Solido will take it. Solido is a fighter for higher. he aint got an 0 to protect. He aint got any personal qualms with Lomo. Put the money on the table, and it will be made. That an easy fight, Just pay the man his money......That blemish will always stop Lomo being the number 1 P4P, #THE/TRUTH#. PAC lost early in his career, but he wasn't this supposedly greatest amateur of all time , who arrogantly came into the pro game thinking his amateur career will reflect in the pros. That loss is good thing for Lomo, and it has made him a better fighter cause now he knows, the PROS is a different game, and some fighters like Crawford and Spence were not super star amateurs, in fact many pros are were not superstar amateurs e.g , Kovalev, Thurman, Crawford, and legends like Hagler.............its crazy, boxing is intense........ Think about it , a gate keeper due to his pro experience, was able to beat the greatest amateur ever.......Think about it..... Boxing is the greatest sport known to man, its like Real Madrid being beaten in the Champions league by Tottenham(soccer reference for the yanks)..........AMAZING
Gamboa was a great amateur, and he met a real pro in Crawford. Some fighters like Khan are elite over the three round distance..... But over 12 he is fringe world level..... Crawford looks like a basic amateur fighter in the three round distance(its easy to see why he didn't kill the amateur scene.) He literally Scouts you in 1st three then breaks you down as he has gotten through your pattern. Only Floyd money may and Sugar ray Leonard, had game plans and adapted on the fly when **** went wrong. The True Elite adapt.........Evolution is not survival of the strongest. the fittest is determined by the ability to adapt to changing environments. Question is in part two of Solido v Lomo, will Lomo adapt.......I think he can, but Crawford proves it time and time and again in the middle of the fight!
Of course that blemish won't stop Lomachenko becoming pound for pound number one, many have Lomachenko there already. Think about the circumstances and context of the Salido fight, what you're saying is not even close to being the equivalent. Lomachenko's pro career has absolutely reflected his amateur career, two weight champion in record time and already at the top of pound for pound lists within 10 fights. #The/Truth#.
Gamboa met a real light middleweight in Crawford. If Gamboa was big enough he would've clowned Crawford for 12 instead of 4 rounds. Loma already proved he could adapt to Salido, hence why the lowblowing overweight Salido was holding on for dear life at the end of the fight.
In regards to the gamboa win, would have , should have, its boring hearing people make excuses for those who lost .its equally boring hearing excuses for fighters who win in true 50/50 fights, excuses excuses. And if he lost aginst the "smaller ", you would have said see he ain't that good, when the smaller PAC man ran through cotton and dlh, and margarito, where were you with the white flags of excuses. Whatever solido done, it worked and he won , whoever fights lomo knows they need to make it rough and dirty and that will work. Lomo is an excellent fighter , I love watching him , but Crawford looks better, he hits and does not get hit, he has beaten excellent fighters, I'm sorry but postol and gamboa are better then anyone that lomo has fought. When lomo fights gamboa let's see the result, I also want to see the solido rematch, the same Solido that Marquez, Gamboa and Mikey Garcia whooped. He a gate keeper, loosing against that level of opposition is worrying, the Walters and garry Russel win were great. He gonna move up to light weight, is he really ready for mikey garcia?......facts are facts lomo has a blue print on how to beat him written, Excuses are just excuses in the world of boxing and combat sports, I like amir imam, when grandis whooped him , I didn't say b-b-but he was the smaller man, he rehydrated, , looooool, it's comical, Tell me what about Lomo short career makes him a Crawford level fighter?, capturing multiple titles, broner done that, beating Gary Russell, Nicolas Walters?, his skill set is magnificent, but he got beat by a gate keeper, that needs to be avenged , otherwise his weakness will be this forever more, Pressure and rough house tactics beat Lomo
Walters, GRJ > Gamboa, Postal By your logic of a beats b beats c, Martinez fought close with Salido and Lomachenko dominated every second against Martinez before knocking him out brutally. Therefore by your logic Lomachenko has nothing to prove against Salido. Learn to understand context, you can't name another fighter who fought for a world title in his second fight against a guy who didn't make weight, came in weight divisions higher, and fouled continuously without any consequence. It simply hasn't happened before so please stop making yourself look stupid by claiming that it means anything. Salido himself knows what would happen if he fought Lomachenko now on an even playing field. Cheating beats Lomachenko, Lomachenko has no weaknesses when it comes to boxing. Oh and for the record I and many others had Lomachenko winning that fight anyway.
****, farmy's post almost made me spit my morning coffee. Farmy is giving like zero credit for Crawford.
It hasn't stopped them putting roman gonzalez p4p 1 who was outboxed and beaten by cuadras, so it won't stop them with lomachenko to, it's all politics has nothing really to do with who's the best
