You became dead to me when you voted NO in my Sanchez thread. Even if you dont think he is, you should've said Yes based on sentimental value alone. :-(
The vibes have changed a bit overall for the worse because Turbotime took two extended vacations, then wants to come back once I've already tired of the damn place.
Don't make me dig up that Duran Mayweather thread and vote for money cause I swear to Cthululu I will! Oh and you alright. Been awhile.
Damn, that may be pretty close. It did get pretty ****in intense for a month or so with that. It IS your fault!! :-(
Boxers who arguably had better 2 year spells in top end wins: Ali - 73-75 - Frazier, Foreman, Norton etc Charles - Jersey Joe, Maxim, Bivins, Elmer Ray, Archie Moore, Lloyd Marshall Robinson - 41-43 (maybe not his best years but I'll go with these for comparison) - Angott the LW champion at an over the weight 136lb title match then beat him again at WW proper, 2-1 against a prime future MW champ in Lamotta, Zivic x2, Servo x2 and Armstrong in the 25th month of this run Tyson - 86-88 - cleaning house was magnificent Marciano - 53-55 - Walcott x2, Charles x2, Archie Moore, LeStarza Harry Greb - pick some random years
Ali is a ridiculous year. What 2 years were you using for Charles? He was a bit all over the place. Funny you list Marshall but don't really recognize Garcia. Garcia beat him all over the place.
Also: Leonard (79-81) - Benitez, Duran, Hearns, Green, Kalule Duran (78-80 - 2 1/2 years) - Dejesus, Leonard, Palomino and as much as I HATE to say it given the BS nature of the Marquez fights Pacquaio 06-08 (MAB/Marquez/Morales) or 07-09 - (Cotto/JMM/DLH/Hatton) obviously Marquez was robbed - 3 TIMES!!!!!!!!!!:fire And I think that highlights the point, Marquez never had the run of Pacquaio but he was always the better boxer. Armstrong had a great little run, but he wasn't a top5 ATG That was a 24month period for Charles, I think 47-49 but maybe 46-48, I forget Greb will have some impressive years
