    hmmmm.....

He does keep his hands too low I think. It would be a real problem against anybody with serious pop, Bute does seem to have a good set of whiskers and a bit of accuracy or against a fast accurate fighter. Neither of wholm would have to be A class to exploit his defence significantly I dont think.

    nigel benn-

    - often fought like a brainless idiot at 160, going straight for the big KO from the off, wasting valuable energy with big winging shots. cost him dear against eubank (first time) and watson. became much more savvy at 168.

    - crackable chin, but was often compensated by his lions heart.

    - could be jabbed silly.

    joe calzaghe-

    - silly hair.

    Julio Cesar Chavez
    · Fought too many wars for his body
    · Slow starter
    · Compared to the rest of his game his defense was not up to par (though far above average nonetheless)

    Fav fighter:
Tyson Negatives: without his mentor, he went back to become a hoodlum, and wanted to party and spend money. Lost focus, and appeared to be unstable mentally. Didn't change behaviour after prison. Being "saved" by muslamic beliefs didn't do anything either, he still wanted to eat babies.

RJJ: Negatives: Showboating. Should have reflected more as to why he lost against Tarver the first time. Should not have rediculed himself by calling out people left and right, when he had no intention of making the deals, after the Prince fight.

Kessler: Negatives: Has to remove his underwear to make weight. Throws too few uppercuts(and when he did - he did it too much). More bodypunches would be prefered. Should have left Palle after Calzaghe fight, and called for a refight in Denmark or USA.

Calzaghe: Negatives: Weak hands, has to compensate in power to maintain speed. Only great against great opposition. Should have left Frank Warren and Wales long ago.

Cristian Mijares: Negatives: Doesn't have punching power, else he would have been perfect, imho.

Monzon: Negatives: Didn't have a serious attitude towards his gifted skills.

i think wlad has a similar problem. he is just head and shoulders above the rest right now. i think he would be at least a 3:1 favorite over any man he steps in with.

the problem is he can become content to do just enough like he did with Sultan. He needs to pushed and challenged to bring out his tremendous offensive skills. Peter did that to an extent in 05 but i dont think he can fight that type of fight again.

hatton forced mayweather to let his hands go and it ended with a great ko.
