Cross arm D prevents what happened to cotto (vs margarito). Constant uppercuts opened up his guard and cotto ate it bad. Cross guard would have prevent that happen BUT he would have gottten destroyed to the body. Ideally, you wanna just do the philly shell(shoulder roll)
Well, you might wanna do the phlilly shell on the inside, and that really isnt recommended unless you are slick, or a southpaw, or a combination of both.. Ideally you wanna use your basic guard.
