Looking forward to seeing the plan mate. I would try cross fit but it seems kinda too intense that it would get in the way of my actual boxing training as well as bouts and ****
Killsomething, things have been around years. What people do, is change the name, too make some money.. Just get confused with the new Bull****
All that means is that you were lacking something before you did your crossfit workout, most likely muscular endurance. There are other ways to increase your muscular endurance. Somebody could train their muscular endurance and improve their peripheral adaptations in another way, then start doing crossfit and end up going backwards or injuring themself. Every sort of training you do must have a purpose, there's no magic bullet that everyone can do at anytime and see the same benefits. Crossfit/circuit training is good for general fitness but it'll never get you to be as strong as you can be or as fit as you can be. If you neglect a certain part of fitness then doing crossfit may improve that neglected aspect a little bit. If you were aware of your weakness you could focus your training intelligently on that aspect and you'd see far greater benefits. Circuit training/crossfit in the preseason if you can do all the exercises with good form, can be good for setting you up for the work to come. For an athlete who isn't far away from competing, personally I wouldn't think about it for a second. Periodization is needed to maximise an athletes potential. The order of exercises in a training session is also very important, without giving that any thought as seen in crossfit workouts you're putting yourself at an increased risk of injury and you aren't getting an optimal training stimulus from perhaps the most important and relevant exercises to you and your sport.
I wouldn't have bothered lefty. But that said he's not the sharpest knife in the draw so I doubt he'll even understand what you've written.
And ko'd British champion dazzo Williams , and drew with British champ lee meager before fighting me - boxrec experts atsch
Ok man, if you say I wasnt in shape you are right. I wasnt where I should of been. Was actually fighting two weight classes above where I should be, and yet stopped both fighters. Also, my wife was 6 and 8 months pregnant at the times of these fights, so yes I didn't get to the gym as often as I could. The thing is I don't claim to be an expert fighter or anything. I just say that you have no right going around ridiculing people who ask innocent questions, because quite frankly you aren't much of a fighter yourself. I would whoop your ass without a doubt. You probably wouldnt last more then 3 rounds. So, once again go suck a dick.
Excuses, excuses. Have you actually seen Jeff fight? Either you're ******ed or trolling. You winning with your flailing around at some awful boxers (the first guy just gave up didn't he? The second guy was utter shite) doesn't make you a decent boxer. Jeff's a pro with years of experience and plenty of skill to back up what he's saying. You're, well, crap. I await your next gay insult, sir.
I can't think he meant anything derogatory by don't judge your level of fitness on sparring 10 rounds. I interpret that to mean that maybe levels of relaxation in the ring are improving, both defensively and when punching, breathing improves, and so forth. Unless you guys had some kind of altercation outside of this forum, I'm surprised this comment would be upsetting. I have never found Brown Bomber to be disrespectful in anyway on here, or elite to anyone because he is a pro fighter. Nobody said you weren't in shape, I'm sure you are. Maybe I'm not getting the full picture.
Chal is upset with Jeff because Jeff told a guy he's stupid for saying it's a fact that weight training has slowed his punches down a lot. It's just basically carryover from the "sledgehammer workout" thread.
