The recent Frampton fights are a fairly obvious choice recently but I think one of the best (or at least the one I remember the most) was the Ulster Hall in Belfast when Martin Lindsay stopped Paul Appleby for the Lonsdale Belt.

That was an amazing night! Both were unbeaten and the fans were going wild. The Ulster Hall is a great venue for Boxing as your right on top of the ring and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Add in the wooden floors with the feet stamping and it makes for quite the atmosphere.

Ricky Burns against Kevin Mitchell was madness place was bulging at the seems and going absolute mental but the night he beat rocky martinez in the kelvin hall because it was a smaller venue and packed to the rafters was madness atmosphere was bonkers and near fainted with the heat in the place

yer i was at the lacy fight...electric but , the jones /curry fight was total madness. The miners were on strike and loads had tickets for the fight as xmas presents and boy were they up for it like mad vikings. Colin got cut up , IMO he would have won and starched the ragamuffin later , and hell followed.... crazy unforgetable night

I fought a boy in a town hall one night, was a full night/show in memory of a trainer who had died of cancer....and I was fighting his son. Atmosphere was rocking everytime the **** landed a punch on me. Bedlam.

Froch Groves 1 was very good, better than the rematch at Wembley.. mainly because in the MEN your all packed in, whereas Wembley was quite simply too big to get a 'proper' fight atmosphere, although it was good.

Hatton v Senchenko was good as well, although it did annoy me seeing all the ****ers scream out for Hatton like they were massive fans, only to be straight out the arena when he was counted out.. some 'fans'.

Hatton v Lazcano at the City's ground, another good one.

On the flip side, if you ever think about going to any fight staged at the ExCel arena, put the idea to bed asap. It's ****ing ****e, a glorified warehouse with zero atmosphere. Been there twice for the Matchroom Purdy v Bundo card and the Boxnation Eubank v Saunders card, terrible 'arena'. AVOID.
