Kuzmin-Johnson is such a weird fight. Come on...Kuzmin i guess?

Sergey Kuzmin won 15 fights in a row before losing his past two by decision (last one was close, although one dodgy judge had it wide).

So a fight with journeyman well-known Kevin Johnson is a warm-up to get him back on track, it's not a weird fight at all.

It's a warm-up with a dude who is 1-6 since 2019...might as well set up a big bass drum in the middle of the ring and watch him smash it up. That would be weird, too.

I'll probably catch it though, too weird not to.

They turned pro 11 years apart, that's mad.

No, not unusual at all. Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua turned pro 17 years apart, and fought for 2 world titles. There are hundreds of other examples.

I guess it's good that Hughie's staying active. He says someone durable next. Maybe Takam or Rice, someone along those lines?

Yeah, but even if it's as high as 0.001% (it isn't) of all boxing matches it is still, at the very least, unusual, and of interest to me at the very least.

Joe Joyce is #1 contender for the IBF title. Since him and Usyk have History…

Yep, and it would serve Joe's career well to have big domestic clash beforehand with Chisora or Whyte first. Also might give him an easier chance to get a better as Usyk might lose.

Did they try to make Chsiroa-Joyce on tv before or did I dream that?
