Remember that he did stop Teslenko up in Canada - so he's got a bit of name recognition there. Winters is a bit of a puncher but he's old & slow. Tough to expect him to hang in there for more than 3-4 rounds. Then again, Kean took an awful long time to dispatch Liakhovitch...so who knows.
For what it's worth - Donnie Palmer is still on this card (which is actually still scheduled) and even has an opponent - Jarrell Omar Young. Mr. Young is 0-2 with both losses being stoppages. Not much to see here.
According to "The Ring" - Yoka has accepted the fight. I'm a bit surprised, myself, but apparently it's going to happen.
His win over Teslenko has certainly helped in terms of getting more paydays against up and coming prospects.
Zhan Kossobutskiy will face Johann Duhaupas in a 10 rounder on February 19. Jose Larduet will face Dusan Veletic in a 10 rounder on the same card.
Yep, love the guy. He would fight Fury or Usyk tomorow if they gave it to him. He's that kind of guy, and the division needs more of them.
