Sure, he's not really deserving of a quasi-title shot, but whatever. Get this out of the way - and the grand WBA mess can move on one step at a time towards resolution. Actually - as I remember it, Oquendo should have won himself a title when he fought Byrd. At the time I couldn't figure how Byrd won that. So if he gets this free shot at the end of his career, so be it. Also, I was quite looking forward to Ustinov/Ortiz when it was in play. So if AJ is tied up with Wlad/Pulev ... some kind of final eliminator between these two would be great.
