Dallas should have his British boxing licence revoked. He's a danger to himself against pretty much anyone at this point. He just shells up and does nothing. At least KJ has superb defense and actually avoids most damaging shots that come his way. Dallas is a sitting duck for pretty much any looping right hand that comes his way.

Some time ago super-heavyweight from the amateur ranks Maxim Babanin shared his thoughts on his fight against Tyson Fury. It was 4 round fight, the first round was even at 2/2 by judges scorecard,2 round was even as well at 4/4 but in 3 and 4 round Babanin took off and took the lead.In the end, Babanin won by wide points victory. He felt he won the first two rounds but judges thought differently, his coach even threw the bottle at judges. According to him, this fight was very hard due to Fury's height and reach. Babanin thought Fury is much better now than he was in the European youth championships.Babanin thought that Fury's technique was poor.

When Stiverne initially engaged Wilder who was his mandatory years ago the WBC granted Don King and Haymon two extensions to get the deal done. When the dust had settled somehow the mandatory which usually gets in the neighborhood of 20-25 percent of the purse - received the larger share. Then the champion Stiverne somehow didn't get an immediate rematch clause either.
But somehow Don King's other heavyweight Molina a non top 50 heavyweight lined up as the first voluntary for Wilder's belt. This after the suspicious circumstances in the Scott fight and the fact that Scott was 1-1 going into the fight and was somehow granted elimantor status leaves many questions unanswered and a cloud of suspicion that Wilder's team has been anything but on the level with the fans and the sport

Interview from 16 November of 2016:

Coach of the Azerbaijani national boxing team, Nariman Abdullayev, expressed azerisport.com his opinion about the resignation of Pedro Roque from the post of coach of the national team.
"For me, the departure of Roque did not come as a surprise. Because at the Olympics in Rio the result was not successful. I could not meet him and say goodbye. Assistant Roque - Lazaro Martinez will stay here. While waiting for the decision of the leadership of the national federation on the appointment of a new head coach. I do not know who it will be - a foreigner or a local specialist. But one thing is that we have strong local coaches. I worked with different specialists, and I will say that I like the Soviet boxing school. At some point, the Cuban school was able to get ahead of it, but recently the Soviet school is back in the lead. Look at how successfully Uzbekistan performed at the recent Olympics. Now we are preparing for the championship of the country, after which we will gather for training. After the Olympics, Albert Selimov, Abdulgadir Abdullayev and Magomedrasul Mejidov wanted to end their career but then changed their mind. They want to participate in 2017 games of Islam, which will be held in Baku, "Abdullayev said.

Marcin Rekowski has decided to retire:

Rekowski lays the blame on the health problems, but also misunderstandings with Andrzej Wasilewski. Not the first and probably not the last ...

"Boxing has always been a part of my life and it will always be, but I have to put it off the back burner, which is influenced by many factors - mostly health but not only. Previously, we had better relations - Mr Andrzej tackled the fight, I went into the ring and did my own. I did not receive any coaching, medical or supplementary training. Maybe Mr. Andrzej is getting worse now - I do not know because he can not pick up my phone, "he wrote on one of Rekowski's social networking sites.

Probably the right decision. He found his level. There's not much more for him apart from some fights at domestic level and being a punching bag for European-fringe world guys looking to rebound. That said... I wonder how a fight with Charr would have gone before the losses decided to pile up? Pretty competitive on paper anyways... Charr has certainly struggled with guys worse or at the very least on par with Rekowski.

Deontay Wilder's manager said he was concerned about reports that the challenger Bermane Stiverne (25-2-1, 21 KO) had left the anti-doping control.

The WBC has recently published a list of athletes who did not qualify for the Clean Boxing Program. He found himself on it. WBO champion Joseph Parker (23-0, 18 KO), Stiverne's name also appeared.

"I do not know the details, but it's definitely a cause for concern." Deontay's research results have been negative since the 2008 Olympic Games. We want the conditions to be equal for everyone so that everyone with whom we enter the ring is also clean. There should be such a guarantee, but unfortunately, it is not always the case, "said Jay Deas.

In recent months, illegal substances were detected in two athletes with which they had boxed the "Brown Bombardier" - first at Aleksander Powietkin, then at Andrzej Wawrzyk.

As a result, ‘King Kong’ is turning his attentions to WBC champion Wilder with a November showdown a possibility.

‘He really wants that fight with Wilder,’ Ortiz’s manager Jay Jiminez told *******.com.

‘He knows it’s a dangerous fight, because of Wilder’s style – he’s very awkward, but he knows what he’s up against.

‘He believes Joshua is the easier fight, he’s easier to box, while Wilder is a little unpredictable and wild with his punches.

‘We believe Wilder wants the fight, he’s not afraid. He’s not like Joshua, who’s never mentioned Ortiz’s name.

‘Ortiz’s name has never once come out of Joshua’s mouth, the guy is a p*ssy. We don’t think Joshua wants anything to do with King Kong.

Kharitonov gave a good account of himself in these fights. If he was in better shape, fully dedicated himself to boxing instead of moonlighting between that, MMA and kickboxing he might have gone places.
