How can they do such terrible matchmaking with probably the most entertaining hw boxer out there?? I had very little interest in the Kuzmin fight either because he was absolutely nobody. Hammer rematch, Teper rematch, Browne, Allen, Helenius, Dimitrenko...the lucrative match ups for Price are endless but they come up with this crap instead.
In an Interview German promoter Winfried Spiering has stated, that he has signed a young Cuban Heavyweight who won gold at the Youth Olympics and Youth World Championships. He didn't mention his name, but it's quite clear that he's talking about 22-year old Yordan Hernandez, who also competed in the WSB. Edit: I was wrong, it's Lenier Pero who he signed. 2016 Olympian who was demolished by Filip Hrgovic in the quarter-finals of that tournament.
Price has a role in boxing. He's a gatekeeper. He's big and can hit. We know he can't take a good punch, but prospects on the way up that need experience vs. big men should consider fighting him. On UK exposure, its important. The UK gives credit to those who beat their own. I do hope Price retires soon.

EBU heavyweight champ Agit Kabayel will, according to the EBU, defend the title on March 2 in Magdeburg on a SES promotion show. Wardley, 24, is determined to climb the Heavyweight ladder after signing a management deal with World title contender Dillian Whyte, who also mentors Cruiserweight prospect Richard Riakporhe, and says ‘The Body Snatcher’ is the man to kick-start his career. “When I signed with Dillian and the team I said that I wanted to be as active as possible and they’re sticking to their word and getting me out regularly,” said Wardley. “Right now, I’m at the building stage of my career my main focus is on learning and developing. I was straight back in the gym after Christmas preparing for my next date. Being involved in a huge event like Whyte vs. Chisora 2 at The O2 gave me a massive buzz, there was no stopping me getting back in the gym. “Dillian said that I did what I needed to do to get my opponent out of there. He was a good, durable opponent and gave me some rounds which is definitely what I needed after three first round stoppages. I wasn’t tested or pushed at all, but the tougher fights will come as I progress. Dillian was happy with my performance and eager to get me out there again. I’m ready to do it all over again on Saturday. “I truly believe that I’m in safe hands with Dillian guiding my career. He’s someone that I have immense respect for and I trust his opinion completely. He’s been there and done it, been through the thick of it, and for him to be managing my career is a big advantage for me.
