He had a bunch of fights scheduled but canceled, that included fights with Jennings and Ortiz. He had three fights since 2011,last in last years December. His career is moving ahead despite slow pace and his age.
http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=332188&cat=boxer Crushing cans and fighting journeymen. His win over Gavern(who'd drawn with Banks and beat Ding), propelled him into the ABCs top 10. Sad, but true. But that is his level. He can beat the Gaverns and the Dings, but he's always known that if he stepped in with Fedosov or Jennings, even Szpilka, he'd be beaten. So in terms of rising thru the ranks......I'd disagree with that. He was hovering near the lower top 30, while artificially ranking highly based off a win over Gavern and a win over Ding. Whittaker was gifted a decision over Fedosov, while Lawrence got him outta there in a good fight. But watch Lawrence fight with Ollie......he clearly isnt top 20 material.
Can't say for sure what happened here. Daniel has all the intangibles to be a top prospect. He just threw them out the window in this fight and paid the price. :-( No worse though that Arreola nearly getting stopped by Harper though. Except Daniel actually was stopped. atsch But unlike Arreola, Daniel is learning on the job, and Im sure, almost positive, that Jack Lowe is gonna sit him down, and force him to work his jab and 1-2 for weeks leading up to his next fight June 26th. Thinking either Tufte rematch, or possibly Robert Hawkins are the opponents. :think
Took a flush, and perfectly times OH L, broke his nose, dazed him, and he didnt take the 8 seconds to recover. Young is a big hitter, and he caught Martz squaring up and drilled him. Very similar to the USS KD of Fury, except Fury had far better preparation and experience to recover.:-( Martz will be back.:good
https://youtu.be/PLQTCi66DSA?t=7177 Here's Mike Sheppard increasing his ranking with his KO over Smith. Got a feeling, like Airrich after Pala, Ding after JCG, and Gavern after Banks, Shepps phone is gonna be ringing off the hook. nut:nut
All this while Wilder sits on his couch and eats chips.......................Wilder will try to find a wino in an alley, get him ranked, some midget who is sick...................
