Why do you guys have doubt that the rematch will take place? This seems to be the norm nowadays with every potential Ward opponent. People screaming "scared" "duck" I just don't get it. I recall people claiming Ward was ducking Froch for postponing the fight during the super six due to injury.
When he came a year ago and there were rumors regarding a potential fight with Barrera, I recall people saying he was scared during the contract negotiation and was looking to handpick a bum to fight. we know what happened between Ward and Barrera
Then comes the Kovalev fight. There detractors on here claiming Ward was scared and will look for a reason to pull out. Some said he didn't really care about the fight and was simply looking to cash out.

When you look at Ward's resume it's hard to comprehend the level of disrespect he gets on this forum, because there is no evidence to suggest that this man is ducker.
It's less than 3 months since Ward's bout with Kovalev and people again are screaming "duck" There is no doubt in my mind that the fight will take place. It will be nice if Kovalev fans can shut the **** up while the two parties settle their contractual difference, because this fight WILL take place.

Ward doesn't share your prediction hat he's win a rematch does he?? If he did he'd be pulling for a rematch.
Face it Ward knows he didn't really win & fears he'd get his ass kicked in a rematch. Its genuine boxing fans that want to see a rematch & the controversy ended

 

I think Ward is playing the whole situation perfectly. He's letting the fight build and he's screwing with K2's and the fans heads. It's working. The rematch will have close to 1 million buys.

He knows Kovalev went easy on him in their initial encounter. The fact is kovalev chose to outbox him instead of finishing him off as he intended to prove to his critics that he was more than just a one dimensional ko artist.

This time if the rematch does occur, Ward knows he will be getting the full and complete Simakov treatment. Especially after the way things have played out resulting in SK having an undeserved loss on his record, losing a significant portion of the person, all because of Ward needing every single damn thing imaginable in his favour.

Then to add salt to injury, Ward struts around as if he delivered a 1st class one man band performance.

It's curtains for Ward if he steps in that squared circle with SK, his team know it, his fanboys know it and his coked up mommy knows it too.
