His body is razor sharp. Possibly, the best conditioned body in all of boxing.

If Adamek carries his power, speed and chin to HW (big if, I know) , I don't see any one stopping him.

Keep in mind, that the move from light heavyweight to cruiser, is the biggest jump you can make in boxing, and Adamek had no probs doing it, despite many people posting the exact comments as yours at that time.

Adamek-Cunningham 2 needs to happen STAT. It was an excellent first fight and the 2nd will probably be just as good. Hopefully it comes to fruition.

i hope he and adamek fight again immediately. the first fight was so awesome. i really hope uss narrowly beats adamek this time and forces a trilogy. he's gonna need to step his D up a little and forget knocking adamek out if he wants to be champ again, though. i love watching the guy fight. he's all action.

Cunn is not going to stand up if he fights the way he did with WB. Adamek for sure will catch him once at least and for me the fight should look alike. Small advantage during the whole fight for Cunningham, but knockdowns will win fight for Adamek, there's also possibility that USS will be knocked out. I like him, he's one of my fav boxers, imo he's underrated in the USA. He's very skilled offensively, has good reach and is very slick. If he had more punch-power and has better jaw he would dominate CW division and could do big things in HW too. Also he's very entertaining while you're watching him fighting.

You don't think the K's would stop him? Adamek isn't that difficult to hit. His chin is good or very good but he was floored against Briggs (no shame) and hurt several times at CW.

I also think that Haye would stop him.

    I can't wait to see Cunningham-Adamek II.

Right, he was down, but immediately got up. About being hurt, everyone does :) Also I can't wait for the rematch, if Adamek wants to be the best he has to beat Cunningham second time, anyway atm USS is the one who can beat Adamek in CW imo, but he can't be knocked down.

If you haven't seen his fight with Braithewaite then go check it out on youtube. Boxer's have special talents and Steve know's how to box. Does he have KO power? Not like some of the others. But why do people measure someone up that doesn't have KO power. The guys that have KO power don't know how to box. As long as you stay busy and make the fight entertaing for the fans then it's all good. Steve is probably one of the best guys out there that can box. And Nazim is really polishing him as a fighter. His D against BW was top notch. Much better against Adamek. I was at the fight and I tell all you Adamek fans out there to watch out! Remember one thing with the last fight....Steve wins that fight if you take away one knockdown. Steve won more rds than him and he just got caught. With an even more improved defence and working with one of the best trainers out there, Adamek is in trouble!

Ageed! Say what you want but Tomasz says he only wants money fights. I was there when he said he only wants to fight on TV. Call it how you want it but he's DUCKING Cunningham. And now he has to fight him or give up the belt. He know's he losses the last fight if he didn't knock him down. No more fighting bum's to increase your win record.
Steve said it best when asked why he took such a hard fight after the Adamek fight.... "I'm the best Cruiserweight in the world, in order to be the best you have to fight the best. That is what champions do. I'm not going to be fighting ducks"
Case closed! It wouldn't suprise me if Adamek moved up to heavyweight to fight ducks up there also.

A question for anyone who saw the fight- how'd Steve's jab look? To me, it might be one of the most underutilized punches in boxing given how USS is built to have a dominant one.

I don't deny Cunningham is a great boxer, he can box of course and he does it very well. I haven't seen many improvements in his fighting tho, he's as slick as before, he throws as many punches as before, but I've observed he traded punches with Braithwhite prolly in the end of R2, he didn't care the defence at that moment. If he faced Adamek then, who was the fastest prolly and who was throwing a lot of punches (4 rds about 360 thrown punches), it would be another KD. You also say that IF there wasn't one KD in Adamek-USS Cunn would win, but the was and even 3, that's the biggest problem of him, cuz even featherfisted man can win bouts, as you said. Also, unfortunately you need to have a strong punch, especially in CW and HW, Stevie doesn't have and cuz if he had he would own the division. Besides, Adamek said he's ok to fight Cunningham, but his priority fight is B-Hop.

ps. Steve rocks, I like him and he's entertaining a lot. There's gonna be another FOTY candidate imo.

Congrats to Steve, another good win for him.

Personally I hope Adamek fights a Dawson rematch first, but Cunningham II is also an HBO worthy fight.
