Instead of wishing the Klitschkos to retire (and seeing mediocre fighters handing the belts from one another) wouldn't you rather wish for new challengers who can match up to their level? I want to see the best fighters possible - the Klits have done their part, it's just a shame there aren't more of the same grain.

When Tyson destroyed all the bums of the late 80s you also found that terrible?

What bothers me in these dumbass threads is the fact that people bring up "they're tall" .. or "they're jabbing". Nobody ever considers their meticulous preparation, their lifestyle, their diet. 365 days a year they're focused on being in prime shape.

It's not that the contenders aren't tall enough. It's that they're not putting in enough blood, sweat and tears. They don't share the same level of manic dedication like the K brothers.

I wouldn't say to the Klitschko brothers "Retire so that we can have other champions". It is silly to say that. But I must admit that knowing from the beginning that they will win everyone reduces my interest to watch their fights . Sometimes the interest for the result in a sport is more important than the skill of the sportsmen. Wasn't it exciting in the WBO some years ago when Brewster took the belt and lost to Liakhovic ,who lost to Briggs ,who lost to Ibragimov? I think it was very exciting even though these 4 are not ATG

This !! This is why they are so dominant ..No one else has the discipline desire or work ethic to really challenge them ...
