He was holding on to the ropes as he was in his corner instead of sitting down on his stool. He was just hoping the ref stopped it in the 8th but didn't so his corner bailed him out. he fought like a ***** all night.
Are you sure the stool was even out, was he not waiting for it to be placed? If they intended to stop the fight, then why would they put the stool out immediately? common sense.
f/n right he did. And NO ONE here was saying he'd still be in there in the 8th rd after that either. NO F/N BODY
Lol its always funny to me when people who DONT box call someone a quitter, or says someone that doesnt have heart. You nor I have ever boxed, and are just people who talk about a sport on a forum. You have no right to call anyone a quitter. As Im sure Curtis Stevens and anyone else you would call a quitter, can and will beat your ass until you cry if you said it to their faces. Your on the internet. DOnt forget it.
He trusted his corner made the right decision and he was right to do so. It's not like he faked being KO or quit on the stool himself. He fought bravely in the ring.
so many ladies on here crying and defending a man who was putting up funeral pics and death dates before the fight, if anyone is the Troll its Curtis. A TROLL and a QUITTER :good
No he saw the ref didn't stop the fight for him, so looked towards his corner to do it. Then after the bell went, he sat down and when the camera zoomed in on him he was nodding the decision in agreement with relief. If that's not a quitter, then tell me what is?
I practice mixed martial arts, and if I put myself in a champsionship fight, I'd be willing to fight until the end. They don't teach you to quit on your stool in mauy thai, too much pride and self respect.
Or he was listening to something his trainer was saying. Way to jump to conclusions. You're full of it. I'll bet the corner knew they'd stop the fight before he showed some discouragement. It was obvious to anyone how one sided it was getting. He had his head down waiting for the stool to be placed, but they ended up calling it off.
:deal Was willing to talk the talk but couldn't walk the walk and his fanboys expect for people to have sympathy for his sorry quitting ass.
Who cares what happened before the fight? People talk trash to psych themselves up and hype the fight all the time. None of that has anything to do with what happened in the ring. In the ring, Curtis got his ass kicked. However, he didn't quit, and he showed heart.
Like I said in my fight prediction, Curtis Sevens is from the hood, he is a G and will take his beating like a man, but man can only take this much punishment. Otherwise he would have been KOed or looked like Kassim Ouma who was too brave for his own good.
