I could like Stevens if it wasnt for his funeral antics. I think that was a bridge too far, trash talk is one thing but he did not comport himself well before the fight IMO. As such, I was quite thrilled to see the look on his face when he hit the canvas in rnd2. But, he did give it his best shot against a monster. And for that he deserves respect.:good Also, he did manage to give GGG a good chin check. Unfortunately for Stevens, GGG's chin checked out as A-OK top quality grade-A chin.
Drunk ass? Stop projecting as I don't even drink son, I train as an athelete myself so I'm as fit as a fiddle He didnt need to utter a single word when his whole body language indicated that he wanted to stop. He threw nothing in the last rounds, just survived and before that threw a few combinations in a desperate attempt to ward off GGG. He fought most of the fight with his hands up just to survive. You need to watch the fight again, he threw every 20-30 seconds in nearly every round minus the first. Stevens said he was going to fuuck ggg up, and he ended up fighting like a pussey and letting his corner quit with no complaints. Now do one before you get me annoyed.
Yeah the fact is he will get that chance rather than going out next round for another beating and potentially seriously damaging his health. Can tell you've never been in a ring, you are an awful poster.
And yet he still didn't quit the fight. Like I said, he was waiting with his head down for his stool. Until the later rounds, he was holding his own, showing offensive aggression, which while ineffective, was definitely not 'surviving'. Go ahead, get annoyed, puzsy.
Plain and simple Stevens talked a big game but couldn't back up ****..he was in survival mode nearly all night and got beat like a punk..yes a punk I only say that cause of the trash talk and disrespect he showed before the fight
He disgraced Brooklyn tonight with that performance. People wanted to see him come in and fight, not pussey out half way through All those life quitters defending his sorry ass, do you think mike tyson would've gone out like that and went back to his corner looking like a he wanted none of it so his corner could quit on his behalf? Stevens hoped the ref would stop it thats why he didn't throw any punches back after the ref was yelling at him to respond with something. When that didn't work he went back to his corners shoulders slumped, hands holding the ropes, head down and his corner knew what decision he wanted from there.
Stevens had to of learned his lesson from that beat down. Now he can be a good boy and stop talking about fvcking up and killing people.
Curtis fanboys are butt hurt and it shows.. This is what curtis said in one of his tweets.."I'm loaded up,got the headshot, get body bag and chopper ready"..ha ha and the guy is in ED at the moment getting looked over by a doctor..
Oh fuuck off with your melodramatic drama queen bullshiit, he was hardly getting hit with clean hammers that was rocking his head back. He had has his hands up most of the time blocking most of ggg's power shots. He didnt want to fight, period. After tasting golovkins power from the kd, he retreated into survive until he could find the next opportunity to quit. I don't need to be a professional boxer to know when a guy is fighting like a *****.
Watch the fight again and see how wrong you are about him going into survival mode right after the KD. He recovered fully at the start of the next round (round 3) and came back offensively strong. I clearly remember being surprised by some of his exchanges with GGG, the infighting, even backing GGG up at certain points. You're drunk, admit it.
