Cus d'Amato was an exile from boxing?

Rooney and Steve Lott defend Cus to this day. Atlas and a few others say he was indeed a homo***ual and so was Jacobs. Doubt we will ever know the truth. If you look around on the net there are more Boxing people who also claim D'Amato was a homo. Who knows? :huh

 

He slept with Patterson because he was paranoid the mob would kill him and when you read Tyson book that doesn't seem farfetched at all.

Atlas said in his book that he wishes he was alive to teach his son about life/boxing..so much for that "odd" tone

Boxing is the gayest sport ever, everybody knows it.
The percentage of in the closet homos€xuals is mind-boggling.

You need to have homos€xual tendencies to keep going to the gym where it reeks of mens sweat and all you see all day is half-naked men when you also have the option to not go there and get some pu$$y instead.

Homos€xuals tend to search for those situations like pedos search for jobs in schools etc.

Sometimes I think Boxing is just a hoax to have a place where gaylords can come together to celebrate their homos€xuality.

Wake up guys... If you see somebody that is in any way involved in boxing, chances are he is gay or at the very least has gay tendencies, and theres nothing to be ashamed of or feel bad about.

 

Cus was married, adopted Tyson. Cus wanted Kevin Rooney to train Tyson after he died, that appears to be the reason that Teddy Atlas hates so much....................Rooney was the trainer for Tyson, nobody could do better or nearly as good, except Cus himself..............

I know nobody can say for sure, but just to point out, Jacobs was married when he died. Cus also had been living with a woman for decades when he died.

 

No, in fact I feel like an alien every time I enter the subculture that is boxing.
That is the reason why I can't bring myself to go the gym regularly, the latent homos€xuality coupled with the insane amount of homophobia makes me sick, its like a place full of frustrated people that can't accept their s€xuality and hate themselves.

The amount of nonsense in this thread is mind numbing. It's crazy that someone can't look at the situation at Catskill during that time and see it for what it was, a chance meeting of some of the most colorful, interesting figures in boxing history. The team was so shrouded in mystery and Cuz was so paranoid that questions about the ins and outs at Catskill will always be in question. What you can't question is the insane amount of talent and boxxing knowledge the place had.

 

This applies to all sports.

 

I have no idea if Cus was gay or not,but he certainly was a nutter and surrounded himself with strange individuals.Atlas,Jacobs,Tyson,Benitez,Rooney and other like minded wierdo's seem to flock to this eccentrics house in the Catskills.
