    YOu call that trial world cup where half the countries sent their reserve side a real world cup?

    Australia is still the most successful side in world cup history, and then south Africa.

    The fiRst world cup was viewed as a joke as many of the nations rested their players as they didn't wanna risk injury to them for something which was deemed a "trial tournament". I don't even think England even bothered to go.

    Australia's and south Africa's world cups were won in tougher eras, and Australia won both theirs abroad while south Africa won one of theirs abroad.

    Aus----> saffas------> daylight------> in zud. :)

    Well if you Russelo's,Souffs,LOL@Souffs supporters count the grand final win against Balmain where both teams agreed to boycott the Grand Final yet your team turned up kicked off to noone and won the AB's can count the 87 World Cup......:yep

    As a kid i went the 87 world cup and the programme was still at my old fellas place last time i looked. Just looked it up nd they are selling that mother ****er for £300 online
