What i was trying to say is Pavlik hasn't done anything to deserve more than 50-50 when it comes to Williams IMO!!

Pavliks accomplishments in the ring are below par in recent years and Paul Williams has accomplished more in recent years! I think for what Williams brings to the table as an exciting fighter and willingness to go up and down in weight for the best opponents is worth 50-50 IMO!

You KP fans keep saying he's the champ and deserves the "lion share" yet Team Pavlik has done nothing championship worthy in the last 2 1/2 years!!!!!:-(

 

Doesn't look like he made a serious effort to negotiate, just made a demand. If Kelly beats Martinez CONVINCINGLY, look for Arum to pull the offer currently on the table because Paul Williams won't be worth it anymore. You see NBA claiming the $1.2 mill is an unfair offer because Kelly was getting $6-8 mill? You know he gets his "rumors" close to the source. It looks like some serious back peddle to me. I realize you are in a better position to know what is going on with Goosen than I am, but.....

 

Pavlik fans are just setting themselves up for a massive fall... when he loses next the whole board is going to lay into them

The one thing I've learned about the forums on ESB is that Pavlik fans will use anything as an excuse to justify KP's stupidity or short commings!!!:-(

 

first of all in no way shape or form does williams deserve a 50 50 sp[lit with pavlik, williams is not a draw plain and simple. I live in vegas and there was absolutely zero buzz around the williams wright fight, which left half of the stands empty. Williams is not a middleweight titlist, he has never been a true world champion in any weight class, and hes not a draw, so someone explain to me why he deserves a 50 50 split with the undisputed middleweight champ

 

to every non williams fan, williams demanding or goosen demanding a 50 50 split on williams behalf is a way to price themselves out of the fight.

 

What has Pavlik done to deserve more than 50-50? Batter Gary Lockett? What a joke

 

pavlik is a very limited fighter, and im not even a fan, however williams is one of the most overrated under deserving fighters period, his only skills are his size and stamina, he has sloppy footwork underwhelming power for his size, and he has no defense as soon as he fights a legit contender or champion who is his size he will lose and badly, so even as limited as pav is he still beats a very limited williams by late tko, people on here will talk about vitali klitshko's size advantage over opponents but klit's advantage pales in comparison to the one williams has in every fight.

pavlik does sell out venues like boardwalk hall something williams does not even come close to doing, and by the way he is the champ, theres only been one challenger in recent history who could demand as much if not more than the champion and that was delahoya, and now mayweather and pac can do it, aside from that it is idiotic to give the challenger who is not even a mandatory contender a 50 50 split, specifically one that is not a draw

 

To every objective boxing fan, Williams had agreed to the terms that Pavlik wanted and was ready to fight in October then Pavlik postponed the fight till December then pulled out of the fight all together! Kelly Pavlik then fought a guy who was the 5th place finisher on the TV show The Contender 2 weeks after he pulled out of the PW fight!!!!:-(

Paul Williams in the mean time fought a very dangerous and skilled opponent in Martinez(154 champion) and got the win!!!

Thats what happend in a nut shell!!

 

Why the silence from Paul Williams? Thats the question you have to ask yourself
