I like Pavlik but the last time I checked, it was Pavlik who pulled out of his fight against Williams only to fight two weeks later. Let's use facts in these arguments please.
Pav fans have ****in amnesia... Everyone knows that Pav went into that fight with everyone except a select few, predicting that he would be the first to KO the old man. This was right after the Calzaghe fight. And Pav was heavily favored. It was his ineptness that later caused Pav fans to declare how brave he was to fight Hopkins... Buncha bull****!
Well the young lady that i was replying back to in that post was using Martinez in comparison to Pavlik so I used Bhop in comparison to Williams! Isn't that fair?:huh Ask your self one question! Besides power what other advantage does Pavlik have over Williams? And remember Pavlik does not have Abraham power!
I've been watching boxing since I was a kid and as an adult I never, ever in my entire life wanted to make a bet on a fight until that night(Pav vs Bhop)! When they had Pav favored 4-1 I felt as if the bookies were throwing away money!! That was my first and last time I have betted and I was about to put some money down on the PW vs KP fight! Thats how confident I was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:good
My father told me to put some chips on that fight.... He said "There ain't no way that Pavlik is gonna catch the old man." And I let the fools on ESB talk me out of a nice payday...:fire
All I know is that Pavlik didn't do himself any favours by skipping the appointments with his doctor regarding this infection.
I hear ya my dude!! You know you gotta take advice from someone who's was watching boxing long before us!!! The thing I realize about ESB is that the kats will mix facts and fiction so well that you start to second guess yourself!!! Booradley and Kermit are prime suspects!!!
When is PAv going to fight someone as big as him? Why didn't he ask to fight in the super 6. I'll tell you why...he's a *****!!!
Looks like I stirred the pot a bit with this thread. However, none of PW's boys even attempted to address the issue at hand. History is not the issue. The issue is "How do you move an exciting and lucrative fight forward at present?" Goosen could have said; "Look Bob we had a bad experience with you guys. If you want to move forward we need some up front money. And we also need a better deal on the gate and the endorsements." He did not do that. Goosen made a move that took all negotiating power way from Pavlik who desparetley wants to make the fight, and then demanded something he knows full well Arum will never give him. The question at hand is; "Why?"
