Article is on MMA Torch. Doesn't know when he'll be back but he says he wants to work on everything and reinvent himself as a fighter.
If he wants to reinvent himself, he should ask the UFC for his release. Fighting in BAMMA/UCMMA/Cage Warriors would let him get his confidence back up and allow him to refine and develop his skillset. If he takes 18 months out and just trains without fighting, I see the welterweight division passing him by.
He is doing the right thing. His whole game needs to be revamped. He would be wise to take a year out and just train every single day on his striking, jits and wrestling. Even his striking isn't that good! Has to be the worst defence ever - he lost his next 3 fights even as he went down in opposition.
I watched the fight last night. He could have won it but poor guy tried to show some versatility and got ***** slapped for it.
Because him and Bisping are UFC's postyer boys for the UK. If Hardy did leave now, he'd easily get fights in Dream, UCMMA etc...
havent seen that much of hardy to be honest but what i have seen he comes across as a very nice polite kid. dont know why its cool to hate him now.
