Yea and if my memory serves me right, which I could be wrong, Margarito was in Dan's top 20 before the Paul Williams fight so why the hell isn't Paul in the top 20 now? :?

Who cares about Rafael's list when there's ESB's?

Wladimir should be in the top 20.

Looks like a solid list, once I got around to reading it. (Nice avatar, Alo.) There are a few I would argue with, but nothing jumps out as a serious wrong.

John has a much bigger win than Valero.

    Spinks is debatable.

Williams should be in there I think.

Winky is way too high on 5...and Hatton should definitely be ranked ahead of Cotto.

    No, I don't think it's that good...

    Hatton is too low
    Winky is too high
De La Hoya is too high
    Where is Mijares, Calderon?
Pavlik should be ahead of Mosley

Overall, many posters on ESB know more about boxing than Dan Rafael.

    Absolutely.

That is your standard American version of things. For a guy who spent a lot of time fighting outside the USA, Winky Wright sure has become an American ranking phenomenon. I don't understand how a loss to Hopkins and a draw against Taylor -- plus a so-so win over Quartey -- gets him ranked so highly.

His wins at 154 were great, and he embarrassed Trinidad, but he's still too high at this stage of his career.

Dle Hoya is not probably even in the top 50 at this point in his career. I could probably list 49 other fighters higher than he is based on activity (or inactivity), performance, etc.
