Ok, he's banned for a year by CSAC. But, according to Dan Raphael, it's more serious than that. He said he can't fight ANYWHERE in the continental U.S. But, here's the kicker, Dan says he will still be able to fight in MEXICO!:-( A year ban, what a joke.:verysad No jail time? So, Cintron and Cotto are looking to take legal action. Margarito may very well of loaded his gloves (probably did) in those fights, but it might be hard to prove in court. So much time has pasted and the wraps are probably long gone in the trash.
Dan also said that they have to face another hearing board next year and theres no guarantee either would be relicensed and with no real precedent set im not so sure they won't uphold the ruling next year we'll see
I dont buy into all of this, Margarito was cleared by the NSAC for the Cotto fight, I am sure NYAC will do the same for the Cintron fight as well.
