    Meh, Chuck was the biggest attraction in the UFC for a long time. He made them a lot of coin.

    Meh. Shogun/Liddell was a good cross-roads match up. Chuck entering the Pride grand prix was a great cross promotion. These were hardly fails for Dana White. Even if considered misteps in White's strategy - these were still good moments for MMA.

    HAHAHA,

    That was amazing.

    Its incredible how much Dana tried to push Liddell. Literally minutes after the Rua/Coleman fight hes in Ruas change room asking him to fight Liddell. HAHA.

    Liddell fought Rua because White thought it was a guaranteed win. He only fought Rua because of how awful Rua looked. And im not going to lie, I thought Liddell would beat Rua as well.

    And the Grand Prix was a disaster. Rampage just rolled right through Liddell who was the UFC's golden boy. It made the UFC product look inferior to Pride because it wasnt even the best LHW who beat Liddell, it was Rampage.

    And the TUF comment I didnt even know about. I dont know why the hell he wouldnt be in favour of something like that though. MMA fans are extremely fickle, mainstream fans, they'd eat that **** up. And they did.

    Crocop is one of the failure white brought to ufc. Well a lot of the top pride fc fighters have been a disappointment lately. Crocop-Shogun-sokoudjou-wanderlei etc. Crocop and Shogun were supposed to come to ufc and become champion right away. I couldn't believe these 2 warriors would have problems the way they had since joining ufc. Shogun still has a chance to become great but i think crocop is pretty much done.

    It is pretty laughable how Chuck was the UFC champion for so long despite being so mediocre. It really says alot about their talent pool at that time.

    But its not really the UFC's fault, its not like they handpicked opponents, their stable of LHWs just happened to be grapplers.

    :rofl There talent pool was as strong as anyones in that divison. Lets see when you look at the all time rankings and Champions at 205 you will see the names Vitor Belfort,Babalu Sobral,Randy Couture,Tito Ortiz,Guy Mezger,Wanderlei Silva,Kevin Randleman,Alistair Overeem ETC. Chucks beat plenty of guys who werent grapplers only. Chuck himself came from a wrestling background but should we punish him because he developed into a better striker then the grapplers he beat ? Dude know what your talking about before you go trying to break down a legend like Chuck Liddells career. Noboddy has beat as many Champs as this guy in MMA history.

    Kevin Randleman - UFC Heavyweight Champion
    Murilo Bustamante - UFC Middleweight Champion
    Vitor Belfort - UFC Light Heavyweight Champion
    Babalu Sobral - Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion
    Alistair Overeem - Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion
    Tito Ortiz - UFC Light Heavyweight Champion
    Wanderlei Silva - Pride Middleweight Champion
    Randy Couture - 2x UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, 3x UFC Heavyweight Champion

    I guess they all where medicore to right ? Throw in Guy Mezger,Jeremy Horn,Jeff Monson,Pele,Amar Suloev. Best resume in MMA history by far.
