5-Suyoshi looking in control mostly here, lovely combination from the jab, HUGE body shot from Sueyoshi! Sanpei looks about spent, he gambled and it didn't pay off (did make things exciting though) and now he's a bit of a sitting duck, a left from Sanpei gets through, and another, more crisp work from Sueyoshi. Sueyoshi down! Sanpei seems to have just got a burst of energy following that...but he fails to land anything of note before the bell
6-Sanpei looking to bring the action, again Sueyoshi landing at a better percent but it does seem Sanpei has a new found belief...but NO defense! All out war! Great, great round! Sueyoshi breathign heavy in his corner now
7-Sueyoshi hurt! Sanpei smells blood but Sueyoshi gets on his bike and recovers, Sanpei is showing a surprisingly tough chin here given the maount of clean shots he's taking, both land a hook, hard body shot from Sueyoshi and Sanpei just walks forward, good left hand from Sanpei, 2 good right hands from Sueyoshi but Sanpei takes them, they hold, Sueyoshi just pushes Sanpei away, he's doing his best to get a breather, Sanpei has suddenly found out he's allowed to move his head...doesn't do it for long thoyugh and Sueyoshi lands a bomb
8-Both look very tired, but Sueyoshi is using his better boxing to out land Sanpei, ....towel comes in from Sanpei's corner...a bit of a strange one really at the time as he had been in worse trouble earlier in the fight... TKO win Sueyoshi
Both of these guys are JBC ranked, Saito at 135lbs and Kasuya at 130lbs. The size difference is pretty clear looking at them 1-Tactical round, both looking to control the action with their jabs, think this might be a bit of a stinker with neither having much pepper in their shots...
Previous bout ended in a split draw, can't say whether it was fair or not, it really lost me after about 2 rounds Chief support bout Yuta Matsuo (11-2-1, 6) v Ryuto Oho (9-2-1, 2)
1-Well 15 seconds in and these two are lettign their hands go with some abandon, this could be fun!...and possivly short lived, shots just flying from both guys through the whole round!
2-More of the same in the early stages, does seem like the guy in white (missed who was who) is the bigger puncher but the guy in blue is the busier fighter, big body shows from the guy in white every so so often, this is the type of war fight fans tune in for, both now stood pretty much toe-to-toe and just unloading...guy in white was hurt there moments before the bell!
3-Guy in white has recovered and is on the front foot, guy in blue/purple is looking tired, hectic action again and body shots from guy in white are becoming a frequent thing and the pace is slowing - understandable - still a high paced war though
4-More of the same, with both standing close and unloading shots at the other, body shots coming in from the guy in purplse but it does seem like the dude in white is in control and landing the better shots. If this was on American TV and not some obscure boxing subscription fight fans would be crazy, it's been incredible!
5-Pace continues to slow as both take a bit longer before getting their shots off, but when they do throw they are both throwing with bad intent and regularly unload 3 or 4 shot combinations,
6-Pace picking up slightly now but there seems to be less venom on shots, good flurry from the guy in purple but he's pissed off the bull in the guy in white who unloads a long assault, good back and forth through out but the guy in white just seems to have done a bit more again....
7-More of the same, not sure how these guyd have anything left, despite a few rounds of slower action they have really beatn the snot out of each other
