Joyce is already going in for his debut fight against a higher level than Dubois has ever fought, that says everything you need to know about where they are.

Also Joyce was a better amateur and has great experience in the world boxing series against opposition at a far higher level even than Lewinson.

Who knows where Dubois is now? What we do know is Joyce is way above him.

Surprised at the lack of picks for Dubois. He's raw and slowish but he's got viscous power and intensity. Given his build he also likely has a decent chin. I know he's faced nobody yet but I just think he's got an intensity to him that could flatten technically better boxers.
So Dubois as a punt for me.

From what I've seen of Dubois he looks more talented than Joshua by a good margin, that much so I feel he could possibly break Mike Tyson's record should his team feel the need to.

In what department has he got more talent than AJ?

I’ve seen nothing to suggest otherwise.

How can we judge his power when he’s knocking out light heavyweights and light heavyweight bums at that?

    Can he go the distance?

    What’s his chin like?

What’s his defence in general like?

    What’s his heart like?

He’s not faster than Joshua either.

He looks the more natural fighter for starters and appears to hit harder, you're asking questions that even Joshua hasn't answered yet hahahaha.

He pretty much went he distance with Klitschko.
Proved his heart by getting up off the knockdown.
Pretty much proved he can go the distance and his power carries through.

He’s shown a lot. He’s smashed champions to bits. Domestic and world and add a legend to that too (yes past his best but still).

Dubois is the opposite for me what you’ve said. He looks very easy to hit. And his opponents! Do you not think Joshua would have dispatched of them in similar fashion if not even more brutal? Joshua also looks the more natural fighter. You can see clearly one has had an amateur pedigree and one hasn’t.

joe Joyce is a jekyll and hyde fighter i seen him live at least 5 times in the world series of boxing and i have seen him get knocked out cold in the 1st round from sub par fighters but then he would come back against someone better than the guy he lost to and dominate with high pressure and power but he did get outboxed by usyk which is either a worrying sign getting outboxed by a smaller man or just shows how good usyk is

Dubois has a chinny look to him, like David Price. Small head, chicken legs. Misaligned proportions. Defensively very poor and beyond training, which is ok when you are facing LHWs who have eaten too much, but not when you step up. I think he gets ICED prior to getting to the world elite level.

There must be a reason his fighting fat light heavys when there's lots of useless fat heavys that are waking punch bags and am not buying that his opponents keep pulling out I mean aj and price didn't have that problem and they were knocking everyone out

To be fair, I think he has only fought 1 LHW after the Mexican HW pulled out. Mendouo had been fighting at both CW and HW.

19 is incredibly young and aside from the LHW I think he has been moved OK, although the fight for the area belt shows he needs to moved on NOW and I understand the discussion is perhaps to take the Gorman-Webb winner, which is ideal I think. They've started the hype a little too soon I think

Absolutely, there will be a level of impatience now if he is taken slowly and at the same time rushing him could really screw him over given how fickle us fans can be. Let him have these fights off air or lower down the cards at least and let the hype generate naturally. Fury spoke well of him after sparring, so I guess there's at least something there.
