dawsosj, it's one of those fights where you can get genuinely excited and the outcome could be anyones as you have 2 strong guys who can be relentless. I don't know about Sakio getting frustrated with Danny's movement. Sakio fought but lost tough, close fights to Calzaghe, Bute and Ward. Sakio has improved and Danny isn't on the level of those three guys. And those guys HAVE movement. To me it's more likely Sakio would frustrate Danny and Danny wouldn't like that at all.
lol TCboxa, I was just asking a serious question and you could probably answer for me - What weight is Dannyweight at? Also when you mentioned Mundine, it dawned on me that a guy who is now a junior middleweight gave a guy who is now a cruiserweight a boxing lesson. Just think it's funny lol
Im not a green fan 1stly lol. Dannyweight is whatever weight Danny says his opponent has to come in at. Could be 195LB to 185LB. And i agree if Mundine spanked Green then i rekon Sakio would take his head off. Sakio is awkard, Very Very Strong. Danny wont fight him anyways, well not while Sakio still has a pulse.
From what I recall ( correct me if wrong though as I ain't seen Green v Mundine in years ) but didnt speed kill Green ? I ain't knocking Bika he is what he is and does the best with what he was dealt with but he's hardly Sugar Ray .
i agree completely mate, ive seen footage of the sparring wars these guys had and they both gave as good as they got. Sakio has definitely improved but danny has always had the better skills in my opinion and would dictate the fight but who really knows it's all a guessing game unless we see them in the ring
Well not just speed, Mundine is a better boxer than Green. Green not so smart when it comes to boxing lol
Thanks, well Sakio would go to 175 for sure, probably a bit higher. I think Danny was misleading the public with one of his recent fights supposedly being at 175? But it doesn't matter really as like I said they have taken different paths in boxing. We can't help that. Josey Wales, you are right, Sakio is what he is and everyone is different of course. He isn't Sugar Ray but he presents other problems for opponents, including someone like Green.
dawsosj, we obviously differ slightly in our opinions but it would be awesome to see them in opposite corners about to get it on. It would be a huge step up from what we have seen locally for a while.
Bika actually looked slick for a change last month. I can't see him fighting Green for a while considering the fight made him a mandatory for Andre Wards WBC title. He has too much bargaining power at the moment and he has called out Lucian Bute for a potential rematch as well. As for a Green fight, it would be a good contest but hell of an ugly fight.
