I don't know that he has all that much less power at HW than the likes of Chambers, Rossy, Mormeck...even Adamek (who let's face it, is a fine HW but not a puncher at the weight...his two - soon to be three - stoppages there will have been over very shot washouts and by accumulation to boot).

We've only had the one HW sampling with Tarver, and he wasn't exactly gunning for a KO against Aguilera whilst dipping his toes in to test the water.

Yeah i think he could give a guy like Chambers a fight but i'm just not sold on Tarver at HW. I'm not sure how he could compete with the bigger more powerful HW. I'm willing to bet a guy like Helenius would give Tarver a lot of trouble. You might be right though, I mean it was his only fight at HW and i still haven't seen enough to get an idea of how good he will be in the HW division.

Glad to hear it. I hope Tarver leaves Green face down on the mat.

Let's hope Tarver puts up more of a fight than rjj,i hope he takes this seriously otherwise he's going to get hurt bad.
Danny has a record of KTFO of Americans who are to cocky and i can see Antonio on the canvas wailing like a fish out of water in distress:lol:

Tarver is shot to ****...more so than Jones. Green outworks him.

Yeah, Helenius is all wrong for Tarver. Way too much length and power (although I think Tarver's chin could hold up with many of the smaller heavies).

    What??? :lol::lol:

    Based on what?

Tarver's not as sharp as he was 5-6 years ago, but Jones is a faint shadow of what he was in his prime and effectively useless at this stage. They're on two completely different levels of being "shot" - Jones being on the much deeper level.

Tarver's more shot than RJJ + fat and out of shape, I think Green's got this in the bag.

What are you tallking about DannyBoy? he wasnt able to knockout BJ flores and that bloke is as cocky as they come, his team even had the NEW IBO T shirts made up and spruked them around. Danny got on his bike and did not engage much because BJ is a true 200LB CW and Danny got whacked a few times and didnt like the way it tasted at the time so he played cat on the ropes. BJ as dumb as he is couldnt figure out wtf was going on.

I hope Antonio ends this bullsht milking of the public that Green has achived.

No he couldn't. But Briggs might be able to take Tarver, Jones and Green.

Briggs was one of the world's younger kickboxing champions and had an awful lot of success at the top of that sport before going over to boxing. He was also a bouncer, and I think at one stage he got involved as some kind of enforcer for organised crime.

Maybe if Tarver was coked off his head he might last for a minute longer than the others. Maybe not.

Danny Green is a notorious rabid puncher! He is gonna look to land the big cheap shot.

This is a pretty even matchup and intriguing... IF Tarver has anything left he should probably be able to outbox him, but thats not a sure thing... If he has faded even a little bit since his last fight at LH, i think Green will add another win to his streak.

Hoping Antonio gives ita better go then Roy coz if the fight stays in Sydney im goin 100% n although i enjoyed the undercard fights and dont regret goin to the RJJ VS Green fight the money i spent on the tickets was somewhat a waste....

not fussed who wins i just want to see at least 10 rounds of a good fight!!!

n for the sake of it i'll be backin Danny i think. Sick of his bullsh*t n promising the world but deliverin us peanuts type fights but at least we'll keep the title in Australia. It will help put us on the world map a little more even if it is only the IBO belt.
