penalosa is my favorite filipino fighter not pac. but pac is the best filipino fighter ever. i'm just not the kind who'll pick him to ko everybody who ever fought at superfeatherweight and below

we can share ganoy. . born in the philippines and fighting from australia seems fair enough right?

i know. i'm nothing like most filipinos here. i get into long heated arguements with most of them when they get silly. most of them don't know i'm also a filipino though

i'm happy for ganoy. i'm sure he's living a far better life down there in australia. i know most filipinos want to go there.

i've helped organize an event once about skilled filipino workers migrating to australia, it was sponsored by the aussie embassy here. aussies are really nice people, it just took me a while to understand them talking because of the accent and all but i got the hang of it.

never got to watch him though. the only match i was able to watch was when he got demolished by pac. filipinos never got the hang of arnel because he came here all cocky and took on the pac, who was then the best prospect of the philippines.

too bad he didn't make it far though

Ive meet Arnel before, heaps nice bloke. Seen him fight heaps of times. Done a great service to aussie boxing.

Challenged for the IBF title against Lewbaba, the guy pac beat for the super bantam title.

Saw him in the corner of a local fighter not long ago. Cant remember who it was though.

Your posts open my eyes, great to see a "pinoy" in the aussie forum!! Please keep coming back and posting your info of the Pilipinos.

It would be great if our countries got along better, but i think we can blame both our goverments.

Can you explain the term Pinoy to me? I was thinkin it was just like using Aussie as a short version australian.

thanks bud. i'll keep on posting here for sure. we have much to talk about as there are filipino fighters now residing in your country.

well, pinoy is is a shortcut. as you know, people from the philippines are called Filipino. take the lasy four words and add y for pinoy. i'm not quite sure where it originated though. and yeah, is pretty much like what aussie is to your guys.

If there was a Pinoy SMW, who was world class to challenge Mundine it would be WW3 in the Aus Forum!
