Why would he fight Vic again quickly? He waited 3 years as you say and now Vic is that much older and slower. In the world of boxing, that is called really smart.
Why didn't that happen? Did Donaire 'duck' any big names or you mean his performances after the Vic fight haven't been good enough?
Some people have criticised his performances, but I think he has done well in the fights he has had since. It is just that he is not fighting the big names. I don't think he has ducked anyone, I am pretty sure it is down to crappy management or promotional team. For whatever reason though, his career has been stuck in neutral. He just can't get big fights. He's a good fighter, and I don't argue that he belongs in the top ten P4P. But the only name he beat to prove he belongs there is Vic, and that was a while ago.

Shaw is the reason there has been no rematch with Vic. I also think that the problems with Shaw it hurt Donaire's career for a while. But it doesn't really explain why Donaire hasn't been able to make any fights with other top fighters recently.
a simple case of promoters being assholes and denying people and the fighters a show. they protect fighters...they have personal vendettas against fighters... they think they are the ****ing star sometimes.
Finally, vic was allowed by Shaw to get back at donaire. I think nonito won't be able to KO darch this time but nonito still wins by a wide UD.
Where have you been, mother****er? Last Activity: 02-25-2011 07:32 PM Last Post: 01-21-2011, 02:05 PM You still want to see your boy get KTFO again by "Nonetitty"?
Vic is a really good fighter who was cheated in his last fight, clearly cheated! However, he would have to fight a perfect fight to beat Donaire.
