barker looks agitated. he should make use of that noticeable height and reach advantage, he seems very rangy alongside his team.
Robinson won the event earlier, can Spada also win the event tonight and make it an event double for the 'away' fighter? I think he can :deal
Round 1 Spada thrusts his jab out, stiff and straight while turned sideways facing his left toward Barker. Spada has his right hand up by his chin to block Barker's counter jabs. Spada comes in pumping his 1-2 up high. Barker is tilting his head back and leaning away while jabbing on the move. Barker is keeping just out of reach and Spada is taking quick doubled steps to cut him off and leaning his shoulder into him. Barker lands a left hook to the body while turning the Italian. Spada answers back with one, and then misses a lunging hook upstairs. Barker is circling and blocking. Spada throws powerful hooks high and low but can't land one. Barker blasts him with a 1-2 that just about splits the guard but doesn't really pierce through to the Italian's face. Spada complains of a rabbit punch. Barker lands a looping lead right around the glove from the outside. Barker is galloping away from Spada's attacks, looking a bit rickety in his stance but somehow staying straight and on point with his feet. 10-9 Barker, not too much in it.
barkers being so bouncy, his movement is overly erratic and not grounding himself well when spada lands.
