Clev needs a trainer that can take him to the next level, he openly admitted he's never properly trained his defense... this guy won and defended a world title without training his ****ing defense.... can Wilson take him to the next level?

I don't really know too much about him other than that he was involved with Jason Cook.

Darren was a limited amatuer on the welsh circuit was a mate of Jason cook, darren opened his own gym and when cookie was making his umpteen come back he went to his gym, this got darren noticed and he's had a few pros going there now ,he also does one to one with cardiff City FC. He is known for his strenght and codintioning ,but I don't think he has the experience and technical know how for world level boxers ,so clev should be ok then!

Why would a former world champion choose to resurrect his career with a trainer who really does not seem qualified? No disrespect to Darren Wilson, maybe he will end up as the next Emanuel Stewart... but the fact is that its clearly an appointment of a mate, who you would imagine will not push Cleverly on.

Sad to say but from this and recent interviews, his heart really doesn't seem in boxing anymore.

I would of likedto have seen Gary lockett and darren wilsonto both train nathancleverly together.
. They are both up and coming boxing trainers in wales . And I think we will see if things from them in the future
