I've only read the first page but its funny the double standard. If this thread was talking about Mayweather having fought David Diaz as his first fight at lightweight, then everyone saying things like "its normal to do that" and disagreeing with the OP (in relation to Pac) would actually be agreeing with the OP and slagging Mayweather off.

Just look no more than a thread below this one (where ever it is on the list by the time). It's bound to have a Pac/Mayweather thread where people are discussing a simiilar but not the same issue as here but reversed, with the people agreeing with the OP in this thread disagreeing in the other, and the people disagreeing with the OP in this thread agreeing in the other.

    I like your avatar.

dude, diaz is promoted by top rank.. Manny just fought 2 of the best super featherweights of all time (barrera,marquez).. He needed a tune up fight. diaz was the first thing in mind cause manny was having issues in making weight.

David Diaz was the first in mind because he was nothing more than a B level fighter with a title.

    Yeah so?

DD is past it himself and Chavez is even past it seriously a tough test for David who was never a great fighter.

I expected it to be hard for DD but to pull it out.

I like how you changed your tune, really, I do. After that ownage in Dr. Harrison's thread that I gave you, peanutbrain, and snell you guys all of a sudden went from ranking Pac between #1 ATG and top 20 ATG to not caring where he's ranked. :D

Very nice, I'm glad I was able to teach you a thing or two. ;)

You owning someone? All you own are Oscar's fishnet posters all over your room.

Glad you mentioned you that thread:

And I quote FROM THAT THREAD:

Sums up it all up. Like I said, I don't put any emphasis on rankings. Fail, AGAIN. Sigh... I mean like thanks man, thanks for bringing that thread up. So how did I change my tune?

And Pacquiao won that poll. :rofl. Yeah only because of the *******s right? :hey

Fail again. Lol at your last post in that thread "***s". Awww, so angry about a little poll that you had to bump it up yesterday with the word "***s". :rofl

Pac might have had more votes, but anyone who says I did not win the debate is a complete moron. ;) :hi:

So how did I change my tune? :think

Why are YOU changing your tune now and just focusing on who won that "debate". :think

Why do you hate Pac so much? Did you lose a lot of money betting against him?

It was Arum who pushed for the David Diaz fight who's also a Top Rank fighter. The other big names in the division were being controlled by GB.

I for one was campaigning for Pac to challenge Juan Diaz who not only was an undefeated unified champ at the time, but stylistically he would have made for an entertaining fight with Pac.
