IMO any speculation on Haye can not be more than speculation. Tyson and Frazier have wins on their record that are respected because they are real life wins, with all the actual risks and hard fought achievements that go with them. Unfortunately Haye never really stepped up to the plate to create a legacy for himself at HW.

If Haye had found a way to make a fight with Povetkin and had beaten him ... or if Haye looks to be not too far off his old self (post shoulder surgery/time off) and finds a way to make (and win) a fight with Usyk or someone from the top shelf ... even if Haye beats Joshua ... then maybe put Haye in the same sentence as (Mike) Tyson or Frazier ...

Look Frazier is a small fat heavyweight by today's standards, with a record of 15-4-1 against true heavyweights over 200 pounds. If Haye fought someone of Joe Frazier's size and record today people would call out Haye for fighting a bum. Just like they are against Bellew etc.
Frazier was smashed to bits against the only power puncher he ever faced, Haye would do the exact same with his speed and power.

I understand your points but Frazier's 71 win over a 6'3 Ali (at 215) surely indicates that he wasn't out of his depth against 6'3 quality HW's somewhere around/slightly over that weight. But Frazier is long before my time so I best leave this discussion for people who know that era way better than me.

Well considering Povetkin is a certified cheat who gave his last opponent about 12 hours notice that he was having a fight you're prob right. Under the circumstances ol' blockhead likes to fight these days he prob smashes everyone.

The youngest HW contender Haye has fought was Chisora who was 29.

Put him in a with prime Frazier or Tyson and he's gone in 2 or 3 rounds. The man has no heart.

You are comparing former cruiserweight Haye to George Foreman?

HAYE is a legend, he would crush Tyson,

I will offend and shock some of the dinosaurs here. Do you think Buster Douglas is better than the Haye who defeated Chisora.... I dont. He aint as quick and does not have the skill or size Haye has.....

Guys in the oldie section blow up fighters to often mythical statuses. people make ridculous statements , "Tyson destroys Haye in under 3"......?

Hayes KO ratio is higher than Tyson, Haye has fought at a top level for longer then Tyson.

Look I can imagine in the past someone looking at Ali and saying he will never be as good as Jack Johnson.....I respect what Johnson did in the past, and I can see how his skills evoloved boxing, but a prime Ali V a Prime Johnson Ali would destroy him......

Sadly its the same case for a prime Haye against a Prime Tyson.....

Haye is a legend and a serious oppenent to have under your belt. This era Heavyweight will have a hell of a CV if they can get past Deontay Wilder, Joshua, Haye , Povetkin, Louis Ortiz, and Joseph PARKER.........

I wholeheartedly agree, Tyson would have 6-8 losses if he had to run through the murderers row gauntlet that is David Hayes resume
