You know that just won't happen, and I expected a more elaborate post from you.

I don't hate Haye...in fact I was excited hearing his interview after the Mac fight, although his comments could be considered inflammatory to many.

Anyway, finding out that all his eggs were in the Rahman basket...really made him look stupid after all of that talk.

My attitude toward him would improve if he released a statement stating something to the effect of...he was being a complete puss and that he was trying to pull a fast one on the public. At which point he should name a quality opponent...these things would do much to help him redeem himself.

...in answer to your question KLIT vs. Haye...I would want Haye to win. That doesn't mean I put money on him though.

David Tua offered to fight Haye, and Haye did not want the fight. Tua would brutally KO Haye with the first power punch he lands.

Toney has never been KO'd. James Toney, right now is calling out Haye, talking **** about him. Haye isn't responding. Is Haye finally at a loss for words? Toney could crack Haye's egg shell chin. Haye has already been stopped by a 40 plus year old Cruiserweight Thompson, with out half the skill that Toney has.

Skelton would ruin any spectacle of a boxing match. Haye doesn't want, or need that, this is supposed to be his showcase in the heavies.

How is Haye low reward? He would be one of the biggest draws in the division, be it deserving or not.

Hardly, I just think morons like you help perpetuate the "ignorant yank" image the rest of the world has of you.

In case you don't know what perpetuate means here http://dictionary.reference.com/

Now try replying without swearing or cursing.

It does seem like you are always on some anti-American tangent.

When you say Yanks are ignorant...what type of ignorance are you referencing...???

Always? Find examples outside of this thread where I have shown anti American sentiment.

The ignorance I am referring to, in purely boxing terms, are the American "fans" who dismiss any fighter from overseas as a "eurobum" or "hype job". Also the fans who have double standards when they denigrate fighters for not travelling to America but have no issue with American fighters leaving their own shores.

I don't see the big problem with Rahman as an opponent.

Rahman is a big name and Haye's first fight at hw.

Rahman might not be shot but he sure is getting there.

But who is Haye at the hw level?

If he was the champ, a belt holder, or even a top 10 guy than i could see bitching.

But right now Haye is simply a cruiserweight champ who runs his mouth that is moving up to hw.

Until Haye, if he ever does, becomes a somebody at hw than there is nothing wrong with fighting a 2008 version of Rahman.

I'm not going to argue how often you are anti-american...I asked why, and you told me...fair enough. So it's strictly opposing boxing perspectives...good to know.

strikes me the biggest problem in all this picking an oponent is haye himself....if he had been less brash, talked less ****, rahman would be a fine oponent for him, even now...a name, an ex champ..someone whom, whilst he should be easily handled, still has a bang and is a recognized scalp....but haye..(whom i actually like and rate...) has said too much..built himself up into some brash, bigheaded parody of the archetypal american heavyweight...

for what its worth, i dont give a **** who he fights at hw first..as long as he gets his ass in teh ring and fights someone..soon....the guys has the momentum to make quick progress...he has, i believe, the talent to win at least one version of the hw crown..but if he ****s about much longer, he loses momentum...and public support..he will go down as a 'whatever happened to...?' kinda fighter...

hell, let him ko rahman..let him ud mcall..let him clean out the division of all these posturing ex champs, let him fight golata for **** sake....get rid of all the guys trying to get on the gravy chain and the, if he succeeds, he is the biggest noise in the division, in and out of the ring, and tyhe champs must then accomodate him....right now he is just an unknown quantity woh is the biggest noise anytime a guy with a mic passes by.....i want him to succeed..he can be good for the division..and boxing...but i just wish he would get a ****in move on...!!!
