What do you think how long Haye would have lasted against that version of Sanders ? 30 seconds ? Sanders doesn't fit into the "small man" category either.

Look at how todays big men move when they're still young enough and healthy. Take a young Shaq, big football defensive players, Brock Lesnar, or even McCline in the Valuev fight, or Shannon Briggs. Apart from his lack of stamina, he moves very well, especially at that age. The big men of the past were just one thing, big, and notoriously athletically undertrained. They were standing around in barns beating up bags, but didn't do practice comparable to a football camp.
Wladimir moves well but slow. He does not have a "dance" in the ring..He moves very metodical. He tries to use angles etc but he is slow...He is a perfect example of text book boxing and only his size and power keeps him in the game. There are many smaller heavyweights who are way better fighters than Wladimir because he does not like to fight..Everybody knows about his fragil chin and his bonestructer is weak if we look at his face..He does not have a big strong neck for the man of his size but looks impressive anyway.. All that takes is a good shot on his chin and he will panic. I am 100% sure of that because he has done so in all the other fights I have seen him involved in.He is a safe distance player with good boxing skills but far from great.. That he has lost to Sanders, Brewster and Puritty tells a lot and that he has been shaken other times by less than good punchers tells another story. As Haye says speed and determination would make this fight. To press Wladimir to fight is the key because Haye has way better combinations and he is much quicker.To make Wladimir burn lots of energy would also be important and one of the reasons why he fights like he does is because he would burn out quick if he fought at a higher tempo. A big tempo fight is not in his best interest. If Haye can press Wladimir and hit him solid early he would be on his way to the crown. I can see Haye landing a solid hayemaker on Wladimirs chin and follow up with a series of punches to head and body that will end the days of the big man in the ring. Just wait and see because Haye is not all talk without a walk. He knows what he is doing and he knows is good..

Sanders is a spoiler that had the right mental approch against Wladimir. He knew that Wladimir has a fragile chin and that he avoids "real" fighting in the ring. Sanders waited for the chance and when it came he reacted perfectly. Wøladimir will react the same way when Haye connects with a good shot but the difference is that Haye will be in his chest from the start if he backs up his words. He may play it safe for a minute or two just to see what Wladimir has, or he will go all out from the start... The best way is to duck under Wladimirs jab and then strike or counter him when he tries to play it safe. I can see Haye unleash a flurry of punches to get Wladimir out of his feet, back of and attack again..If Haye gets respect early Wladimr has problems. The mental attidude is everything in a fight and Wladimir does not seem to be strong mentally. When he has lost he has done so against fighters that in reality is a class or two below himself. He has never lost to a really good fighter..If he had got beat by Lennox Lewis he would not have the confidence to go in against Lennox again..Lennox was to good. Against Brewster it was easy to fix the mistakes he did...Against Lamon it was easy because he is after all secound class.
David Haye is damn sure not that small. He's quite a large man. Wlad just happens to be a good bit bigger.
