I never said he should have fought Godfrey. I said that he should remain a cruiserweight and defend against the legitimate threats in the division after he beats that other bum hype job mac (or maybe mac will beat Gaye..who knows, they both suck).
Of course he can make cruiserweight. And no-one has said he can't. That would be a dumb thing to say considering he's fighting at the weight this weekend. Nor did Haye say that he 'has no problem' making the weight. The title of your thread is a complete misrepresentation. Why did you feel the need to start a new thread in order to slag off David Haye, when you've already being doing that fairly extensively in an existing one? Especially when starting a new one involved making up words that no-one has said.
So he stays at CW and beat USS and Godfrey and Admek and whoever else. Then what? There will always be someone else coming up. By your reasoning he will never be able to move up. The guy is a natural 230lb heavweight, there is more money, more glory and bigger challenges in the big boys club. The Enzo fight will be his last at cruiser. That doesnt make him a ducker - quite the opposite. I, for one, cant wait to see him at heavy. If his chin improves with the extra weight which is likely he will be a force to be reckoned with. And lets face it, the heavyweight division needs a bit of a shake up and an exciting boxer like Haye is just the man to do it.
because he's a british undisputed champion. he therefore has to beat every cruiserweight in the ring top ten just to get a little grudging respect.
No it isn't. Nothing in the title was in quotations. Therefore, it should be assumed that it isn't the exact words from Haye. I clearly included the exact quotes in the post. I don't see what the problem is.
