David Haye was pathetic. First he talks all that **** before the fight, than fights pretty poorly and didnt behave like a guy that that wanted Wlads head like hes been saying for 2 years, then after the fight raises his hands to celebrate with a big smile, and then after the decision blames a broken toe. Didnt seem to bother him while he used every inch of the ring. Haye was pathetic. I was thinkinh about Canelo-Rhodes. Rhodes was beaten up and his corner tells him basically give everything you got, you may get kod but its your only chance. Rhodes didnt have a belt, Rhodes didnt make empty promises before the fight, but Rhodes went out on his shield fighting. David Haye was no warrior tonight and did not act like a guy who deserved to be champ.
Everyone should realize what bravery and fortitude Haye showed by fighting through the pain and crippling injury of the "stubbed toe". Anyone that has ever stubbed a toe knows how incapacitating it is and can feel the appropriate sympathy for Haye. I once stubbed a toe and it bothered me for like 10 whole minutes. Think how brave it was that he did not tell anyone about it. He even showed the massive injury to the world. Maybe his foot was what was stinking up the joint. Maybe the pain from the injury is what led him to seem so disagreeable and downright ***** like leading up to the " fight".

I kinda agree with you. BOTH guys were way to wary of actually fighting. They didn't want to engage. Haye was pratically begging Wladimir to impose his will by keeping his hands down. He wanted Wlad to go for it. Wlad cornered Haye on MANY occasions. Steward told Wlad to let shots go for several rounds. But the man just don't trust his chin enough to open up. Wladimir was hurt real bad in the 12th, but to me he showed dominant ring generalship throughout the fight. Haye just stood in front of him and slipped all his shots on several occasions. It was 'Chris Byrd-like" clowning he was doing, which is one of the reasons I never could stand Byrd. Wlad should have gotten KO number 50 tonite. Haye wasn't exactly running away. People need to watch the fight again because he stood his ground in the danger zone for the vast majority of this fight. Both guys were looking for a perfect opening and neither got it. Haye DID take the initiative moreso than Wlad, which is a real shame considering the size difference. Wlad has been in too many fights like this without Haye, yet Haye is getting all the **** for it being a stinker. Perhaps he talked too much trash and people are just pissed he didn't take a beating/get ktfo. They have a right to feel that way after all the **** he talked. The real disgrace (aside from this fight being garbage) was Haye's toe excuse. If you ain't 100%, then don't fight. Otherwise, if you do, then don't cry about it when you lose.
Your post is spot on. I know the gist of it is something a lot of nuthuggers here don't want to accept, but it is what it is. Wlad deserves credit for knowing how to use that frame. Steward deserves credit for helping select the right opponents every time out. He knows which guys to fight and when Wlad should fight them. If Wlad fights a guy that's around the same size as him, then the guy is a slow, lumbering oaf 99% of the time. For smaller guys like Chambers, Haye, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Byrd, etc Wlad uses that frame advantage to the fullest. Credit to him for knowing how to, so don't hate the player, hate the game. There are no big, equally athletic, and skilled HWs coming up to give Wlad a real go where he has to take as much as he gives. We still don't know what Wlad is made of; we haven't seen into his heart lately. This is why lower weight classes are more entertaining for a lot of viewers. It's not about Eastern Euro fighters, because they fight at those lower weight classes too. I could see Helenius making things interesting down the road, but Wlad will rule HW for a very long time to come. For the record, I never once believed D. Haye had a chance. In fact, my post history shows that I ALWAYS believed we'd see him knocked out here. Didn't even get that because Wladimir was too reluctant to impose his will on the significantly smaller man. Not like we haven't seen that before. Emmanuel Steward is on record as stating that boxing needs more emphatic KOs. I know deep down, he wanted to get Wald to go for it, but he just didn't believe in his ability to absorb a shot in the process, should he be countered. He didn't even go for a big shot when Haye was all off balance.
Wlad wasn't hurt in the 12th, he just took a shot.. He came back and dominated the rest of that round.

I bet Haye inflamed his toe flopping to the ground. He's worse than all the floppers in the NBA. When somebody goes out of their way to take his shoe off, he's making an excuse. The guy does nothing but talk for years and he really expect us to believe he's had that injury for weeks?
David is a ****ing piece of **** inside and outside the ring. After 3 years of trash talk that is how he fights. How ****ing sad. Retire!!!!
12 rounds! Shame on them both, but if I was Haye i would cut that toe off and kept goin. He could always grow it back later...right ????

Haye learned today that even though he is fast, he isn't fast enough to duck and punch back effectively at Wlad. I'll admit, Haye is extremely fast, but not fast enough to do both things against Wlad. Also, Haye did manage to land some good shots, but when Wlad just took them , you could see Haye get very discouraged.
