I'm not saying he "bitched out" as such. I do think he underestimated Wladimir's speed and footwork, and just how hard he actually hits. After a few rounds he didn't seem to have the same confidence to try to take advantage of any openings, much less try to create them. He won't have those same problems against Vitali, granted, but I don't think he'll cope very well with Vitali's aggressive style and size.

If I'm wrong I'll admit it. If the fight is signed and a date set then I hope I am wrong to be honest in Haye at least being competitive, but I just don't think he will be. I've just not been impressed with his heavyweight run at all.

You bringing Irn Bru as a mixer or are you having the cheek to expect it to be provided for you?

You probably would have done! After that first knockdown Mormeck looked like he really didn't want to be there. I did wonder when the fight was announced if Mormeck was in great need of cash or something. Hope he at least made a good pay cheque out of it as it was shocking matchmaking, and everyone knew in advance he was going to take a hammering.

I'm not claiming that I think Haye is that bad of an opponent though. He at least does have the potential to present either brother with problems stylistically, I'm just sceptical about him actually doing so. Still, that's more than can be said for Mormeck or Shannon Briggs...

    Cant take what??

Ricky Burns is the hottest thing in British boxing at this moment in time Ice, i dont see how you can argue this point? He sells out no matter where he goes and he is a likeable warrior who also travels to foreign countries and sells out whilst defending his World Title(Cook). When he brutally exposes his next world ranked challenger in Moses he will most likely go on the road again and defend his title in London this time and sell out another arena, he is old school like Sugar Ray etc doing tours and giving everyone a chance to see him in the flesh, the only difference is that Ricky is doing this while in his prime. Dont hate on the lad Ice, you are in the Gaz bracket of respected posters who can also remember the big fights as they happened in the 60s and 70s when you were in the prime years of your young drinking life.

I'm not saying it will be a good fight, but much more interesting than another one-sided pasting of a fat American.

I dont expect you too, what with the glory days of the 70s,80s and 90s!

  13. Can't believe some people think Vitali is finished...

Definitly not as good as he used to be, but still head and shoulders over everyone else bar Wlad.

Vitali wins big on points with Haye going down 3 or 4 times.

  14. I love Ricky Burns and he is a credit to British boxing but you're talking bollocks.

Firstly, you could buy tickets on the door at Wemley when he fought Katsidas and it was far from being a sell out.

Secondly, fighting in Liverpool/London is not fighting in a foreign country.

Vitali is the definition of being shot without anyone around being able to take advantage. Haye will retire the psycho IMO and it will complete the circle Lewis TKO6 Haye TKO6
