David Haye says he's healthy and back in training now

Good hopefully he fights Fury and ends him

 

As to the OP.......just yesterday, 4/18, David Haye made a statement as to his health.
He says he is able to everything with his R arm and has full ROM. He did say he will begin working with Booth again and begin throwing punches, but at a very measured pace.

This is verbatim, not quoting.

He hinted at a return, but has not in my estimation gave a clear and concise answer to the question.

I said earlier in this thread that I would be happy for Haye to return. He's certainly a top 10 HW, and if VitaliX2, Helenius, Ward, Bute, Danny Williams etc etc etc can come back and compete, I say Haye should as well.

He could go the EURO route, taking out overrated punch bags like Petkovic, or guys who cant fight for 12 rds like Dimitrenko, and his presence in the ring alone would be enough to make for large enough purses to lure these top 100s into the ring.

Take a few of these types then onto his 10 million payday vs Fury, Wilder, Arreola, Wlad2, Potevektin, whoever....and if he reinjures himself he's just got 10-20 more million to aind in the purchase of his Island.

Then he can become the first ever BLACK 007.

 

Haye talked **** for 3 years then showed up and did absolutely nothing against Wlad but run, flop, pose, and throw 5 punches a round then blame it all on a pinky toe. His 'fight' with Valuev was also atrocious with little action.

 

I'm probably the only person in the world, but I scored Valuev up on the cards at the end of the fight.

Haye might well have been one of the greatest of all time if he was fighting at the time of Tyson, but he's just not big enough to compete with the Klitschkos.

I also lost a lot of respect for him over the Fury situation, expecting him to win the fight in seconds.

 

No you are not actually including the hometown commentators. Plenty of people did not have Haye winning that fight.

 

Yeah? I actually never heard it before. I was a big fan of Haye at the time, but I thought Haye missed most shots and a weak enough jab earned Valeuv the fight.

Also, I'm sick of that ONE punch being replayed over and over. When you're the height of Valuev, a big shot is going to wobble you. The fact that he stayed on his feet and wasn't even hurt by it shows that it was in no way a big shot.

There was no shoulder surgery. He did it to duck Fury.
