The issue here is that Haye has done nothing but calling out the Klitschkos since he stepped up into the HW division. He insulted them whenever he could, even doing these infamous pics holding Wlads head. Now he might have had an excuse for not fighting Wlad because he was injured (supposed that back injury was real), but he's got no excuse for not facing Vitali now. Vitali is offering him a fight, and there's no other way for Haye than taking it now or being a chicken. Period. And he has to thank nobody but himself for that. So what if the contract is ****, as you said Haye never earned his shot in the first place. Who is Haye anyway? A former unified (not undisputed) CW champ who, in the HW division, has done nothing more than beating a shot to pieces Monte Barrett and ducking fighters. Haye claimed he'd save the division, while all he did until now was to delay other contenders chances at title-shots. Listen, Haye could very well have bided his time in the HW division, beating some decent guys, making some cash and then eventually fighting for the WBA strap, and I would have been the first person to understand and agree with it. However, right from the start, he opened his mouth about being the saviour of the division, freeing it from the Klitschko plague and what not, and now he just won't back up his words. How does that look? Another thing, if you really think that Haye will face either Klitschko after having won the WBA strap (which is far from being a given in my eyes) then you must be very naive. Boxing is a circus these days. Haye is now co-promoted by Don King, meaning he will have to fight Don Kings people and not the Klitschkos. If he indeed wins the WBA belt, he'll face John Ruiz, Kali Meehan and the likes, maybe also Valuev in a rematch. And the WBA will sanction these fights, because the WBA does as Don King says. There will not be a unification fight, forget that. So before you insult me for not thinking before posting, you should just do exactly that and not blindly believe the Haye hype anymore. This guy lets down his own fans time and time again and they're giving him a free pass for all of his bull**** tactics...
That's just it.... he has got a very good reason not to fight Vitali. He can earn more money wining a world title from Valuev and earn a bargaining chip so all the terms aren't dictated solely by the Klitschkos. I know you're a Haye hater but use a bit of savy
This fight will be on PPV in the UK. What a joke. I aint paying for this BS fight. 1 week later is Pacman v Cotto.
Interesting.... you equate facts with UK journalism providing a promotional view of their fighter... You are aware that UK journalism is a synonym for "atrocity"? You are aware that the article was written for Haye fans? Then you say that posting one fighter's version of events is how to get to the "facts"...That fighter who was so credible about their "back injury". That fighter who was so credible about getting Chelsea stadium.... That fighter who is so credible about wanting to fight the Klits.... It's funny what people like to think are facts!
what a load of BS! its not haye's fault klittoris bros are so fkn greedy, but i admit that i woulda gladely seen those greedy assholes get KTFO by Haye.. only haters and klitwussies think nicolay can win on points..
Valuev's chin is beyond any doubt. And so is his stamina. He for sure can take a good punch and go 12 rounds without getting out of puff. The Russian behemoth is no big puncher.Thats for sure! The decisive factor will probably be Haye's stamina. I dont think that the Brit will be able to knock Valuev out.Valuev has faced better punchers than Haye, and has never gone down in his entire pro career. Valuev can box a little bit,his jab isnt that bad,and his size gives him a cutting edge over most opponents. Haye surely has the tools to outbox Valuev, but will he run out of gas in the later rounds or not? Thats the big question here! I for my part think that he will be out of puff after 6-7 rounds so that Valuev will slowly get the upper hand in their fight and grind him down by leaning on Haye 's body and constantly being in his face. Valuev by tko victory in the later rounds.
I agree that Haye has let his fans down again. But truth is, Haye does not care about the ESB Forum hardcore fans who follow boxing every day.He will move on and fight a paper champ instead of the much better Vitali. It is a business move and yes the Don King could cause problems in the future. Haye has lost credibilty but only to the hardcore fans who follow boxing every day.He will still have plenty of supporters. All his talking was business and I never did take it serious anyway.
I cant see what the problem is, the klits orignal contract with him was fight wlad, if haye wins they had a re-match clause and even if he won that he would have to fight viatali too. Nice, so he gets injured and cant fight wlad, negotions didnt go well vs vitali so he goes after the wba belt holder to give himslef better more bargining tools for a future fightwith either brother- haye ko, too quick too powerful
If 47 year old Holy and 40 year old Dinal can outbox the giant then Haye will to. No question for me. And like you said, Valuev does not have enough one punch Ko power to expose Haye's glass chin.
Are you aware how ridiculous that sounds? British journalism is world respected outside of the circus that is the tabloid newspapers. It is like saying that American film making is awful because Hollywood produced films like Streetfighter and Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Even the rather liberal bias of the BBC does not stop the organisation from being world respected in regards to its reporting. Newswire groups like Reuters are based in London and a vast number of the wire services from some of the most fraught regions in the world rely on the dilligence and integrity of British journalists. Because we have a trash section of the print media it does not mean journalism as a whole is poor in this country, anymore than Fox means all US reports are jingoistic and subjective. The paper in question is a well respected paper. The only point you made of any validity is that an interview with Haye does not equate to "fact". It is simply an outlet for his line of the argument. But seeing as you have already made up your mind as to what to believe any evidence whether classed as fact or other is of little importance to you anyway. True or not?
Well,as I said VAluev can be outboxed. Valuev vs HOllyfield was a no contest in my opinion. What a horribly sight for eyes that fight was! None of the two participants deserved the victory that day! No action at all! And yes, most fight fans and ring observers had Donald ahead on points after 12 relatively close rounds.I for my part wouldnt argue the toss with someone who had Donald ahead on points, but it was a close fight which could have gone either way.No robbery! Valuev is a big fighter, ugly, clumsy, cant speak English nor German. He is "easy" to hate for a lot of people out there. Oddly enough,he is a very humble and likeable human being outside the ring,no arrogant ***** or thuggish bigmouth like a certain fighter from............. . No caveman at all.A very polite and fan friendly man outside the ring he is,Mister Valuev!:good Most people want to see him lose in the ring. They hate him because he is a freak, too big to be considered to be a fellow human being. Very sad!:-( Anyway! By the way Bidenko also outboxed him .....in his 4th pro fight. I am not sold on Haye at all ..........irrespective of his countless childish Haye nuthuggers here on esb. He beat a shot Barrett at heavy weight, knocked Macca out who hadnt been that good in the first place anyway, defeated Fragomeni(his best scalp),and won against the French based African Mormeck(who wasnt in his prime anymore). Valuev has a far better fight record,a proven track record at heavy weight, and both his stamina and his chin are beyond any doubt. They same cant be said about Haye.Thats for sure!
