Yes, he was a journeymen, a journeymen with granite chin and a heavy right hand. Anyone that could take some good shots from Lewis with his hands at his waist, and not even get rocked, I give him a chance against a lesser puncher in Haye, and also someone with a shaky chin at Cruiser. If McCall gets him in any kind of trouble its over, one overhand right could mean the end of Haye's Heavyweight career.
this would be an extremely dangerous first fight for haye...not because of mccall's punch but the likelihood of having to go 12 rounds. mccall is clearly shot. he cant let his hands go but he is strong and tough as nails. i would be interested to see if haye attacks mccall or just boxes him. he could be in real trouble if the fights goes late and throws a lot of punches. i would take haye on pts if i was forced to make a guess.
I can't see a guy who has never fought at heavyweight stopping arguable the best chin in boxing history. If anything he wins by decision but I think McCall TKO 8
Don't get me wrong I think this would be the worst match up in the world for Haye, but people over exaggerate the Lewis win.
Why are people talking about McCall as if he is some superstar? Haye would make him his ***** like Lewis did in the second fight.
