Peter is entering his later David Tua phase now: gain weight, forget boxing, and throw haymakers at all times. This could be the perfect time for Haye to exploit that and look great against a big punching bag. I'm not sold on Haye coming out of the fight conscious, but if he won he could do so in sensational fashion.

:yep I think he can get a brutal late stoppage, other than Miranda and Slappy I can't think of any else i'd like to see KTFO.

Like to see a Haye-Peter match up, but how does Haye leapfrog Arreola, and Dimitrenko for mandatory shot? I think he fights Maskaev next, then gets a title fight one of Klitschko brothers.

'Scuse me? Peter doesn't deserve a fight against Haye? Surely you're shittin' me?! Peter only has 2 losses and they're to the best 2 Heavyweights in the world. He's a former WBC HW Champion for crying out loud.

Either way, Sam vs. David is a crossroads fight for both. If Haye can avoid or take the big guys punches he'll prove a lot. Sure Peter is slow but he's got a decent jab & chin along with good power. Haye would prove a lot by KOing Peter, more than if he merely outboxes him. Peter has shown good stamina in most of his fights especially against Toney. Surely Samuel is top 10 too, all in all not a bad choice.

AA just knocked Miranda out. Joe does not get knocked out or lose fights.

    :rofl

It could go that way or Peter could catch Haye and knock him out cold. Realistically, picture Haye on the end of that punch that KO'd Jeremy Williams.

Haye would MASSACRE Peter. That 23% think otherwise really shows how poor some posters knowledge and comprehension of boxing is.

STFU, that's what these threads are for, debate & opinion. :nono Like I said, Haye could easily outbox Peter or even get a KO or TKO but I can just as easily see Peter crushing David's little head with a left hook or overhand right.

Vitali toyed with Peter and never went for the kill.
Maskaev hurt Peter more than once
Mc Cline had him in big trouble and should have finished him
Peter took some huge shots from Wlad but what has happened to his chin since? i think his punch resistance has gone down because he can no longer get in shape.
