Well he's 31 in a year and a half, so that means he plans to have 4 fights in the next 18 monts and he's just had one: so he plans to fight every 4 months from now.

Seeing as he's currently averaging about just one fight a year at HW, it does look unlikely - still, I hope it's true.

 

Unified cruiser and unified heavyweight. That is enough of a stayed for me.

 

If one of the brothers beats him, I wonder if he will still fight the other one - I hope so, as they both bring different things to the table - if he can't beat the one, he might be able to beat the other.

It might be the start of some classic series ie like the 4 kings : )

 

Just because he doesn't particularly like Hatton or Calzaghe doesn't mean he dislikes all British fighters. I can guarantee you he has better knowledge of domestic fighters over the past 20 years than most people on this board.

To be fair though in the shoprt time i've been on here I genuinely think that was the first time i've seen a post by Scurla that was a. informative and b. paying respect to a British fighter. I wish it would continue as I've always held him in the same regard as Betty :good

 

He doesn't post much as I think he's a little disillusioned with the whole sport. He knows his **** though.

 

Well i'm not doubting that but in all honesty if I was a disillusioned with the sport as he is (and he obviously is some of the rubbish he spouts) I wouldn't be constantly online on a boxing website :good

 

He's hardly the only one, mate. Plenty of rubbish talkers on here, Rob being one of them. I don't crucify him for it though, Scurla just has a posting style that's given to antagonism.
