I actually think having the clause is good

If Charr were to beat Vitali i think the entire boxing world would want him to follow up and fight Wlad anyway

Sanders stopped Wlad and i wasnt on ESB then but im sure most of the ppl on here then were like have him fight the other Klitschko and see if he can expose both of them

i mean dont we want titles unified and **** taken care of

if Vitali loses to Charr wouldnt it be best to see the next logical step

    am i wrong

exactly...plus Haye was all dodgy about even making the Wlad fight, it showed that Vitali wasnt gonna duck Haye if Haye won

funny cause now its Haye begging for Vitali, Haye should have put a loss stipulation where if he lost to Wlad he had to face Vitali

That's true, but it doesn't mean it should be mandatory. A rematch clause with the brother fighting is fine, but anything involving the other brother is bull**** and I'd rather they didn't do it

it would create the fight everyone would want including Charr

I mean unless Charr were to beat Vitali and then the contract vs Wlad were to be totally horrible then i can understand

but it would guarantee Charr 2 gigantic back to back pay days vs the 2 best guys and could earn him all of the belts

i dont see where Charr loses here unless he wants to fight Vitali and duck Wlad

    No it's not.

Because the rematch clause they provide also make you agree to a shitty purse even if you win.

That is disgusting in boxing, even if you get your buster douglas moment you cannot cash in on it.

    Horriffic and wrong

You can if you're mandatory. I don't see what all this crying is about.

Had nothing to do with K2. Briggs was suing his manager. You are clueless.

You can't set financial terms ahead of time. That is not in the contract and why are you people listening to David Haye for christ sakes the guy is so full of **** it is laughable. The rematch clause was only for the Haye fight to get a Unified Champion. It hasn't been stipulated in any other contracts :rofl:patsch

Again I am asking: What is bad for a voluntary challenger (read: a guy who would have to work and wait 1-2 years to get a mandatory shot) to get a title fight with 2 extra options right away? Instead of waiting?

    What's so bad about that?

Why not go ask guys like Dimitrenko - who DECLINED Klitschko's voluntary title shot offer before - how they feel about it today. He's a nobody now and won't ever get a title shot, he could have had his day, but he refused. He never had a payday and he's done now. Instead Charr took his payday. Is that better?

Don King has been doing this since the late 1970's and it is OK now the Klitschko's do it and it is 'unfair' and 'evil':rofl:patsch

King used to try and get options when his fighter was the CHALLENGER for christ sakes but that is all fine and dandy.

Remember people posting on here "At least King gets fighters an all time high payday" but they leave off that he steals half of it :rofl:patsch

Great interview with Larry Holmes about how King shorted him 40% on a lot of his purses and didn't give him the guarantee in the contract but that is all fine and dandy with people on here :-(

How is getting to fight the two best fighters in the division and making the most money you possibly can in the process a slave contract? That sounds like a sweet deal to me. Haye is just talking out of his ass like always.

I don't think the ''fight me again, then if you win again fight my brother'' thing is fair, but in all honesty I'd imagine that that is what you'd want to do anyway, to make the most money.

You are dealing with delusional Brits on here that actually believe the stuff he spews like he was going to KO Valuev and Wlad yet he shows up and gives the most boring and scared performance in both fights while back peddling and throwing 13 punches a round.

Now, they believe he is going to KO Vitali :rofl:patsch

How many times is this idiot going to fool them while filling his bank account with their money? Hopefully they make Haye the betting favorite against Vitali like they did Wlad :rofl:patsch

Haye wasn't ever a betting favourite against Wlad.

His odds drifted in fight week. People had him sussed by the end.

Why is it wrong for Charr to fight an easy opponent in his hometown in between fights? Would should he be forced into fighting the Klitschko brothers wherever they want, whenever they want?

The thing is, this would never be accepted in a million years if the Klitschkos weren't brothers. It's a completely unacceptable idea.
