What does it have to do with somebody being from your own country? What the **** is that about?

If Ottke was from England you would have loved him? That piece of **** runner and scammer? If Hatton was from Argentina you would have hated him, but you love him cause hes English? If Haye was from Japan you wouldn't back him but you back him because he has the same citizenship as you do?:lol::lol:

It's professional boxing. Pro boxers do not give a rat's ass about you, they don't box for a flag, they box for their purse. All they care about is *GETTING YOUR MONEY* and you, my dear lemming, are falling for it.

I actually like David Haye, and always have. I think he brings back some flare and Swagger to the game. Fair enough he beat Audley Harrison, and i'm a massive supporter of Harrison's....but life goes on.

David Haye would spark Scurlarantings out.

Well you're doing all right giving it to Philippine boxers aren't you?

At the end of the day the boxer in itself counts. Does he deliver what you expect and what he promised. What difference does it make what country he's from? A **** boxer from my country is still a **** boxer. A future HOFer from far away is still a HOFer.

I appreciate good boxers from any country but I always try to get behind the British fighters. Nationality does play a part in a lot of peoples thinking in boxing, just dismissing it isn't acknowledging the reality of the situation.

    Agreed.

It's hard to support the likes of Haye though. I thought he was a tosser before but he's taken it to extremes now. His ducking of the Klitschos is a disgrace.

if haye doesnt fight a klitsckho or adamek next (after the performance of chagaev i think hes done) i wont be PPV his next fight. if everyone has the same approach it will mean he is put in a position where he has to fight one of them or else make no money.

plus, the hayemaker cards seem to be bollocks. groves isnt a PPV main support card fighter (yet) by any stretch. would it kill them to import a euro title fight or a eliminator or something? fair play to warren for his next offering because it plus khan plus wlad is well worth 15 quid. this needs to set a precedent because skys ppv cards have been hella weak for a few years. why the hell arent they showing katsidis marquez??? plus lara cabballero and berto (although against a can) they have to pick it up

i dont mind haye so much, but i do take exception to him calling himself the heavyweight champion on newsround. thats bang outa order

    Yes - he's a smug **** -

I dont doubt his talent - I did once but he proved to be better than I thought he was.

I didnt think he would beat Mormeck - but he did.

The other fights - Gurov and Maccarinelli and Valuev and Ruiz and Harrison - they werent so good a fighters - and I knew Haye was odds on to beat them guys but I thought they had a chance of beating him also - but he proved too good.

I like watching Haye fight - cos of his heavy handed ability - and attacking nature -

But I just dont like what this guy stands for these days.

His trus colours of his character have come to the surface when faced with the challenge of the Klitsschkos and all the ducking and bullshitting he has been doing.

He's a dissappointment - very money orientated boxer.

This is the biggest load of shite ever - but I can see why some might think this.

But my dislike for Haye has nothing to do with Maccarinelli and all to do with David Haye.

In hindsight - Haye dished out to Maccarinelli what he deserved.

Maccarinelli was protected and been beating up bums - and as a result had alot of hype about him and a inflated ego.

Haye showed Maccarinelli he wasnt the World Champ No 1 he thought he was.

I thought Haye was a tosser - from the early days - I saw his myspace.

And I was rooting for Carl Thompson to beat him and he did.
