On Twitter Haye made a cheeky comment telling Bellew he better hope he doesn't have the same S&C coach as Price and Bellew fired back calling him a disgrace for mocking a guy who had just lost.

This is the same Tony Bellew who brought up Cleverly's alleged AA meetings at a press conference. I like Bellew but he's a major hypocrite most of the time.

I like David Price, he's a genuinely nice bloke and like you Kokiri I also wanted the local lad to do well.

If it's worth his while fighting at domestic level picking up small purses then nobody can begrudge him that. Chisora has 7 defeats to his name but still gets the respect. He gets that respect from showing the desire and heart when it's stacked against him.

I think Price lacks self belief. When it gets tough and he's breathing heavy I believe the negative doubts in his mind come right to the surface and he doesn't believe he belongs in there. It's written all over his face for his opponent to see.

    He needs psychotherapy not conditioning.

He wouldn't be a very good plumber if he runs out of gas quicker than he does in a fight.....

He needs to work on fitness

    Love that one .

    He obviously does.

    1) he's way to heavy you can't be that big and powerful and have a decent tank

    2) he's nervous as hell,

He needs some confidence and self belief and to lose some size then he might look better

He must have been on the plumbers diet, full english for breakfast, pie and chips for lunch, indian curry for tea and a 12 inch meat feast pizza for supper.

Actually he can talk, because he learnt from that loss and it made him a better fighter long term.

He punched himself out that day, going for the flashy KO. Since then he learnt how to pace himself.

So that is the difference. Look what Haye achieved AFTER that loss, because he was prepared to look at his shortcomings and work hard to correct and not replicate them. That is why Haye is in the position to comment on Price.

I feel for Price. He has had a tough time recently and I think it is unfair for people to poke fun.

Sometimes I dont think some fighters get over a loss and do things differently from that point on. Price has looked nervous and fights as if worried about what is going to come back and I wonder if that is burning nervous energy? I have thought previously that When an opponent steps forward he jumps back quickly and looks concerned. I often felt Wladimir did this and still think he seems to, and thought the same with Bute before he lost to Froch. Not so much now with Bute.

I think with Prices size and power that if he went for it that he would often win early but I dont think he would be looking to do this and if some fighters get through that he may be in trouble.

I have said all of that, but my opinion counts for nothing and although not a big fan wish Price and his team all of the best over what I can only guess must be a tough time

Are you for real. Weighing in 2 stone heavier has not done him any favours, especially when his trainer is telling him to jab and move.

    Great interview

As we suspected- the man is still mentally f***ed from TT. As Coldwell said, some people never get over a divorce. I dont think Price has ever got over the TT loss.

This is exactly why good managers protect fighters on the way up. We fans hate it when they do, but there's good reason. The first TT fight was too soon and the 2nd should never have happened. Being beaten twice by the same man, broke Price as you say. The Price of 2017 would lose to the Price of 2012.

Bellew's a total hypocrite. If you look at how he's behaved and what he's said in the build up to fights in the past you'd never believe it's the same guy talking about class.

He's a classic bully in many respects and when someone won't have it off him or dishes it back he loses his tiny mind.

I have to admit I loved every minute of the fight. Even when he was having his best moments I sensed it was just making the inevitable stoppage even more painful for his fans! The guy is a complete joke, and even though you didn't have to be a genius to see how it was going to end, it was extra satisfying for me as I picked up a couple of quid on an accumulator.
I have found his career very entertaining so I hope he continues, beats a couple of bums and again loses as soon as he faces anyone of any quality.

He regressed. Looked slightly better against Hammer than he has lately, but was definitely in better form before the two Thompson defeats. I'd say Thompson II was the last glimpse of Price as a dangerous and efficient glass cannon.
