Price has looked good so far but to be fair against very poor opposition. It's nice to see a heavyweight keep himself in shape, and with sound technique though he needs to learn how to tie an opponent up on the inside other wise he will get that chin cracked sooner rather than later.

McDermott is a definite step up in class and it will be interesting to see if he can put him away as easily he has everyone else. I am hopeful and think Price can put away McDermott impressively and progress beyond the domestic scene.

I can't believe that none of the USA networks are showing this fight today.

Then again, after Wlad-Haye, Pac-Mosely, and other snoozefests, plus the long list of obviously corrupt decisions over the past few year, I guess I can't blame them for making boxing a low priority.

Oh well ..... Time to avoid ESB for a while and hope for a post-fight download or YouTube offering.

is is just me or does Price have no jab? I reckon he needs to work on that even though he did beat the shite out of big McDermott.

It is refreshing to see an in shape HW though, he also looks to have a huge right and solid fundamentals. He knows how to sit down on his punches. I just reckon he needs to learn to establish the jab and use his height and reach more. Anyone agree or am I way off on this?

Guy has an excellent right hand. Real natural power in that punch.

He's big, has power, and some sound fundamentals. Will keep an eye on him.

I'm not surprised at the KO1 outcome. Price is the goods. He's a few levels above Tyson Fury.

BTW, the only reason Fury got by Chisora is because the latter was hopelessly overweight and ring rusty. The Chisora of Helsinki would have demolished Fury within 5 rounds, I think.

I concur. Fury has never impressed me, he's undisciplined and technically poor. Price and a fit Chisora would beat Fury.

David Price just confirmed he has genuine power, still a lot of unanswered questions though. Fury will be a much harder task.

Danny Price looks like a good CW prospect as well

Price would beat Fury like he did as a amateur. Helenius would beat Price like he did as a amateur, two times:deal

whatever, Price have glass jaw, otherwise he is good.
