I don't know about the full Danish show because of the Copper Box, but their defo shown the Price fight on Saturday Ted. I agree Pala seems the right opponent for Price with him being tough and durable. If Price isn't up for it he could be in trouble, but I like the big man to get another early win. I think Price should be looking at the loser of Chisora/Fury after a couple more fights, but either one of them will be big fights in Liverpool or Manchester.
Thanks Ryan. Glad to hear that as I think David can still do something in boxing. It will be very interesting in this division. Look forward to Saturday.
They say that they are showing it on their Facebook page. Big fight for Price- he needs to win and in style.
It's going to be shown as a repeat around 2am apparently. Does anyone know when the actual fight will happen?
Down goes Price, round 1, 1 minute in. Wasn't even a punch, more slap to the left jaw/neck of Price. Dude goes down way too easy for a boxer.
Price learns to hit someone else behind the ear for a change and gets a knock down, whcih sets up the KO. Good punch to the right side of Pala's head. Good power Price has. But good that he was calm, despite the 1st round KD.
Although it shows once again Price has a big weakness, the fact he learned to stay calm makes me think he can still be a dangerous contender in the division.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOpejTye1pM Here's the fight It wasn't a bad KD - it was a flash knockdown more than anything; Price was completely fine when he got up: steady legs and seemed lucid. What's interesting is that after round 1 Brooks said to Price, and I quote: "where's your jab? Use your jab, use what we've been working on in the gym". Price hardly threw a jab in the whole of the first round; clearly it's a weapon that Brooks recognises Price has been using too sparingly. Incidentally, Price finished off Pala far more convincingly than Chisora (not hard, to be fair) - it was a proper KO; Pala looked a bit worse for wear.
Think we have learned tonight that the big man is more limited than we thought. Good to hear he picked himself up and won but I fear a brutal KO has his name on it.
